I think every commit who played last night saw their team advance in the playoffs:

  • Jaron Dukes caught a TD as Marion Franklin advanced:

2013 U-M WR commit Jaron Dukes caught a TD. “: 'Marion-Franklin vs. Canal Winchester Playoffs Week 2':

  • Mike McCray's Trotwood Madison team advanced in an OT comeback:

The Trotwood-Madison Rams advance tonight with a hard fought 27-20 OT win over Winton Woods.

4years in a row my 2013 view class will be in the regional finals. Not many people can say that.

  • Ross Douglas' Avon squad advanced:

Division 2 Region 6: beat Tiffin Columbian 24-14 and Toledo Central Catholic takes down Madison Comprehensive 45-7

  • Chris Fox's Ponderosa team won their playoff opener:

Yo: Ponderosa is 11-0 and cruising. Mustangs handled Green Mountain 35-7.

  • Patrick Kugler's North Allegheny advanced to the WPIAL semifinals:

42-14.

  • Jourdan Lewis and Cass Tech advanced to the state semifinals:

Cass Tech holds on for a 21-14 win over Saline thanks to a late pick by Damon Webb. Technicians advance to the semifinals.

  • Michael Ferns' St. Clairsville stayed undefeated and advanced to the regional finals

I agree, Magnus - even Coach Palka said he thought the team overachieved. I think a lot of people will be interested in to what extent he can build the program to maintain such success.

In re: Tater, though, I'm not sure a seven-point loss sealed by a late interception against the defending state champs qualifies as having nothing left in the tank.
