Changes in the Lineup Next Week?

Submitted by Wolverine Devotee on

Where do you think (if any) changes in the lineup next week?

I think Pipkins is going to be the starter over Quinton Washington next week. I liked what I saw from him, getting through that alabama o-line and stuffing a run.

At tight end, I think we may see some freshmen. Michigan played all 4 scholarship tight ends in this game. Brandon Moore left the game with a hurt knee.

Obviously we will see a change at RB with Fitz. I hope Fitz runs like a madman.

If Borges isn't 100% committed to zone read then I'd replace Denard. He's essentially worthless as qb if he isn't a running threat.

To be honest, I didn't see too many things during that game that make me want people replaced.  I saw some good things out of our team and I saw a lot of guys that just got out-played due to size and experience.  What I do want to see is Countess back and healthy, Lewan back and healthy, ect ect...

It'll be the same lineup I bet.  Save for Countess.  He shouldn't be needed the next couple of games unless his injury isn't significant.  Also, Toussant will be the starter at RB.

Whoever has the best week of practice should play. Hopefully the lineup changes won't be at LT or CB, and if they are,  it's only a short fill in.

To everyone saying so-and-so sucked, bench him: there are some good reasons why you don't schedule your toughest opponent in Week 1. No team is as sharp as it will or could be, except maybe teams like Alabama this far into Saban's tenure. This kind of scheduling for a team like Michigan is almost sure to expose every weakness. Surprisingly, i guess, it did just that.

So maybe the change should be in the guy scheduling games for what appears to be mostly the opportunity to show another special uniform and get on prime time TV.
