Maybe he'll have a team around him this year.
is it "Jag-u-ars" or is it "Jag-wahrs" or is it "Jag-u-wires?" I've never really known.
Since it's a Spanish word, Jag-wahrs is closest.
Even better, I had thought that it was a word that they (the Spanish) took from one of the many native languages of South America, a word that was very similar to "jaguar" in pronunciation but simply meant "beast" or something along those lines. It is sort of interesting to see language get appropriated as it was here.
I think it's "Jag-wahrs". "Jag-u-ars" if you're British. "Jag-u-wires" if you're weird.
I just spent 3 minutes on their website and their official "Jaguars.com Live!" show and their coach both use "wahrs", so that seems official.
FYI: their most recent video (about the NFL draft) in their Jaguars Media Gallery has a subtitle that refers to QB Aaron Murray's "rock-hard confidence."
I did not click on that video.
I think it's "Jaeg-eww-ee-wares". Pretty sure actually.
It's just the "-uars". Just like the 'canes or the 'noles. I hate when he does that.
Unless you're a pretentious British car company, it's "Jag-wahr"
Jags will be much improved this fall, Gus Bradley and GM Dave Caldwell were excellent hires.
Jag-you-are. I say Jag-wahr.
In talking about Jacksonville's offensive weapons, Chad forgot to mention Denard.
I knew denard was done when the Jags took ace sanders. He is basically a better denard. Hard to play both of them.
