CCHA games tonight
Seriously, I'm mostly following a Miami Twitter feed and the only things they had in that period were "Miami takes another penalty" and "Miami back to full strength."
Don't let me down sparty...
5 straight penalties (including two 5x3's) to Miami and State only got one goal...you know the gongshow is going to try to even those penalty numbers up in the 3rd
Miami leads 2-1
penalty to MSU
OSU-Ferris are 2-2 through 2. Shots are 35-18 in favor of Ferris.
FYS has been in pretty much every hockey thread. I don't understand why it's an issue. It's not a childish name thought of by 12 year olds like Saprtina. I even think Brian has wrote it before. It has historical significance.
3-2 OSU off of a bad line change.
GOAL. 3-2 OSU, around 15 left in the 3rd I think.
Edit: As of now, 15:09 left. Goal happened about 2 minutes in.
probably ices the series...3-1 lead for the redhawks
In case anyone is interested, Michigan Tech is playing North Dakota. FCS Pacific - DirecTV channel 626.
not looking good for the Spartans
Less than 2 left and it looks like miami will advance meaning we get them at JLA regardless of the ferris/ohio outcome.
Michigan will face Miami in the semifinals on Saturday
Ohio leads 3-2 but Ferris is dominating the play. Shots more than 2-1 in favor of Ferris.
Ferris State hits the post.
OSU wins. Final score 3-2.
Game over Ohio wins 3-2 Semi Finals are set. Michigan vs Miami and Notre Dame vs Ohio
ohio knocks off ferris and advances to the JLA.
7 Michigan vs 1 miami and 2 notre dame vs 4 ohio will be the semifinals.
it's flash back time. 5-2 upset win over the Redhawks to reach the CCHA finals, just like 2009.
Unless Ohio State manages to pull the upset, this will be a tougher track to the title though having to go through Miami and Notre Dame. No small task
the place will be packed, can't wait.
