The best "guest" (sponsor) Huge used to have on his show was a guy who owned a surplus supply company. Their discussion on the various tarps available at the surplus supply company was reviting.

I'll take Bob Stoops as second option...hopefully Michigan "reached out" to him or his agent just in case Jim turns us down.

I would put no stock in these internet rumors about who Michigan's second choices are. If we want to be logical the choices should be:
1. Sean Payton - NFL New Orleans coach - slam dunk, good fit and long term keeper
2. Les Miles - look at his record in the toughest college division...he'll stick around for 6-8 years as well and will do good things here quickly
3. Dan Mullen-long term prospect, would bring back a Bo/Woody rivalry due to having worked under Urban, recruits well, great coach, good player development
4. Bob Stoops-long term prospect, good recruiter, good coach, good developer...but see no compelling reason why he would come to Michigan unless to get away from house thieves

Also, why Stoops as #2? Not that he isn't great, but if we're offering $8 million, why not John Harbaugh? Or every other great NFL coach?

Michigan may gave just started a bidding war where all NFL and college coaches get $2 million dollar raises.

The University of Michigan won't be involved in a bidding war. This was our best offer and it will be countered by 1 or more NFL teams. Jim used us in 2011 to get a better deal with SF we'll see if history doesn't repeat itself.
I think Michigan fans are being unrealistic.

most certainly will be involved in a bidding war. They just offered $8 million per year to a guy who has not publicly proclaimed any interest in the job. They have showed their hand, and their ass. They are now in some rarified air and there is really no coming back from it. I think they have to go big now.

Apparently his sources are Mgoblog, Sam Webb, Gregg Henson, Jeff Moss...Ian Rappaport. He's awful as a sports personality and not much better as a person overall.

"Here's what I know about the 'Cookie Situation'
The tin is definitely missing

I personally find that hillarious! However, I don't think I have the proper FB audience to use the sports reporter format with. While I do have a few Michigan friends/family, they aren't nearly as fanatical as I am.

radio voice; that is all. His information is sucked from others, nothing original, thinks he is funny, and is so far up sparty's ass. Huge worships Izzo, Dantonio, and tries to deny he is a sparty lover, which makes him all the more annoying. He has attempted to perpetuate the worst rumors about Michigan, and often drops narratives about how the search is a fiasco, how Michigan fans are so unrealistic, etc., blahblahblah. When callers take a a different position, he out volumes them and cuts them off. He would be perfect at FoxNews.
