CC: Place your bets (super special secret insiders to make a killing)

So apparently you can bet on everything now, including where various coaches will be coaching next year. Just figured I would share this so that everybody who knows a cousin who waited on a secret AD insider (we can't say who it was because my cousin might lose his $5/hour waitering gig if he committed such a massive breach of trust, but you would be super impressed if we did say who it was) can now take their inside information straight to the bank.
At least on the site mentioned in the article (bodog.com), Harbaugh is a 1/1 favorite to remain at Stanford, 3/2 to coach in the NFL next year, 3/1 to take the Michigan job, and 5/1 to take over for JoePa in Happy Valley.
Rodriguez's odds are pretty much down the middle with a lean toward getting the axe (1/1 payout to stay and 5/7 to go).
Some other interesting prop bets in the article as well (Wannstache, Heisman, UO and Auburn this weekend) so that even those of us who don't know gossipy people in the service industry may be able to make a buck as well. Good luck to all bettors.

Here is the question, if RR gets the ax (as suggested by the article), and Harbaugh stays in Stanford (as suggested by the article), what happens to us?
DOOM!!!

My neighbor, who knows somebody who use to date somebody who once sat next to somebody at lunch, says its so.

Did they also see Ferris pass out at 31 flavors last night?

I ran into Les Miles's wife while at my realtor's office who told me that she heard that Mrs. Harbaugh was in town looking at houses in Ann Arbor.

DB will not fire RR until he knows Harbaugh is in his check book.. Err back pocket.

They just seem "odd"

See, its really simple. And nobody here has mentioned it
Brandon is just waiting for some odds to become really ripe. Whatever he can get the biggest pay day out of, he's going to have somebody plunk down a load of cash of his behalf on the prop and then he'll make it happen
The result?
BOOM NEW CRISLER ARENA AND UPGRADES AT EVERY OTHER ATHELTIC FACILITY!!!
The man is before his time, I will tell ya.

...isn't that a criminal offense?

You know what they say, behind every fortune is a bunch of pizza and coupons crime.
December 3rd, 2010 at 4:10 PM ^
Brandon should have his dad place all of the prop bets and then claim that he knew nothing of the bets taking place. According to the new Auburn clause in the NCAA regulations this should be perfectly within the rules.

You really can bet on anything. That is crazy.

Next years team regardless of coach will be better than this year's team due to the experience of the current players and bench players in waiting.
However in 2012 and 2013 when the team is struggling due to a lack of quality in the sophomore and junior classes respectively, we will look back on this week as to when Michigan football was not lifted up but had a major letdown.

if Harbaugh stays at Stanford, the odds of RR being fired should be extremely high -- and vice versa.

You can't parlay prop bets or you could make a killing with these.
