Richard Belding
November 5th, 2014 at 7:49 PM ^
Fun Fact: I met Mr. Belding at a karaoke bar in Burbank about a year ago. He introduced himself to everyone as Mr. Belding. Not a half bad singer.
November 5th, 2014 at 8:27 PM ^
I've been to that same karaoke bar on Porn industry night...

Mr Belding, Kato Kaelin and Carl Eller (judges) at Barnstormer's Hawaiian Tropic Bikini Contest. I don't travel much.
November 5th, 2014 at 8:43 PM ^
Oh boy. I bet the owner loved that (I went with my wife for her birthday and the owner kept insisting she take shots from between my legs, which he took pictures of and gave to us. And probably kept a copy for himself). If you read the Yelp reviews for Dimples, half of them are people talking about the creepy owner.

but this is a must watch for all SBTB fans, especially Mr Belding fans:

and then the suicide prevention hotline crashed because all the readers on MGoBlog called in at the exact same time because they had prematurely escalated their hopes of the messiah's return to A2? Yeah. That sucked.

I only watched the first minute or so, but damn that was all so incredibly cringe worthy. Cool seeing Jimmy in it, though.

That was a nice vacation the 2 of us had. I had to do something nice for the little shit after his brother kicked his ass.

I could be wrong, but wasn't he on an episode of "Arliss" as well back in the late 1990s? I am pretty sure he was still with the Colts at the time, but I could be wrong. I know he was on "The Adventures Of Briscoe County, Jr" as well - I remember the episode specifically for some reason. Coach with TV experience? Plus.
November 5th, 2014 at 8:04 PM ^
I never knew this. Great find and thanks for sharing. I wish JH will act on his remark about who the real hero is and helping out the team, school and community.
Come on home Jim.

I hope UM gets Harbaugh for only one reason really
If someone else is chosen they are going to be negatively compared to what we could of had in Harbaugh every time they lose a game or make a mistake- many will never let this go and the new coach will always be in a shadow.
I really feel sorry for the next coach if they are not Harbaugh- I am not sure the fan environment is going to be accepting
November 5th, 2014 at 8:18 PM ^
Agreed. I compared this to the Lakers' last two HC hires. The entire fanbase wanted Phil Jackson, and at least one of the times, Phil wanted the job. Because the bar was Phil Jackson, the fans were going to be disappointed with anyone bit him. And they were.
November 5th, 2014 at 8:37 PM ^
Yeah, I kinda feel the same way. And at least with Jackson you have one of the greatest coaches in the world, a guy who led basically every team he coached to greatness. Harbaugh certainly has proven to be a good coach, but the myth surrounding him has exceeded his proven bona fides a bit.
I'm perfectly happy if he's the head coach, but I'm not sold he's a long-term savior for the program.
November 5th, 2014 at 8:41 PM ^
Trust me, Laker fans did the same with Jackson. Yes - Jackson won a lot, no doubt. But as that Laker team aged, even Phil Jackson wasn't doing that much. He got swept out of the second round his last season and the team he would have come back for had less talent.
The great thing about Phil's legacy (for him) is that no one really saw what kind of a coach he was in a rebuilding stage or with average talent.

I enjoyed the fact it took the (moslty 13-year-old female) audience a couple of seconds to start cheering because (I'm guessing) they didn't light up the "scream" sign when he walked in, because I am fairly certainly most people watching that show knew who Jim Harbaugh was.
November 5th, 2014 at 8:45 PM ^
.... Jimmy promised a victory at Ohio State and delivered 26-24? I remember.
