List of people who definitely won’t be Michigan’s head football coach next year is below. Please feel free to add any names you see fit. If a name fits any of these categories, don't bother posting their name here.

  • Anyone who is dead (e.g.)
    • Pop Warner, William the Conqueror
  • Anyone who hasn’t coached American football before
    • Tom Brady, Me, You
  • Any high school coaches
  • Anyone who has coached at Michigan in any capacity in the past
  • Any TV analysts
    • Rich Eisen, Jon Gruden
  • Retired head coaches over the age of 60
    • Lloyd Carr, Ron Zook, Mack Brown
  • Any current NFL head coach whose name doesn’t rhyme with “AWWW”
    • Mike Tomlin, Sean Payton
  • Any college head coach who has won a national title or made a national title game at his current school

Speaking of Helen Keller........my son was assigned a geometry tutor at his high school who is blind and suffers from carpal tunnel syndrome, making her fingertips numb so she has trouble reading the braille geometry. If it wasn't so tragic, it would be a Seinfeld episode.

You have your work cut out for you these next few weeks. I humble propose starting my deleting this thread and instituting a policy whereby if you start a thread that is ultimately deleted as being non-thread worthy, you lose 500 MGoPoints (1000 for a second offense and all remaining points for a third). We need to so something to salvage this board for the next month.

I don't see why Bob Stoops is on the "no"  list, nor would I be surprised if he is the one Cowherd is hinting at.

In the past, Bob Stoops has even stated that he has been intrigued by the NFL so I don't think it is out of the realm of possiblilty that he would leave Oklahoma. Afterall, he is 54 and it certainly isn't too late.

Then again, if we sticky this one as the semi-definitive list on what CC threads will probably face eventualy deletion, that might....well, no, because we sometimes post "don't do this" or "don't be that dude" in the mod sticky and you see how effective that is with a fair number of people.

She doesn't seem to have a firm grasp of the fundamentals.

Call me crazy but I am actually enjoying these threads.  They are much more entertaining than the drivel I should be doing at work and some of the humor is spot on.

It will all work itself out in due time - let's all just make the best of the situation and the unknown - it adds excitement to our otherwise dreary lives.
