Was that really newsworthy?
January 4th, 2011 at 12:25 PM ^
I have a bad feeling about this. Something tells me Harbaugh isn't coming. Maybe we can get Lloyd Carr back on board?
January 4th, 2011 at 12:54 PM ^
A Bill Snyder situation? "Return of The King"

%@#& Lloyd Carr
I assign half the blame for the current state of Michigan football to Lloyd. Sure he won a national championship in 1997, but he should have quit after the beat down by Tennessee 10 years ago. He hired incompetent cronies, basically quit recruiting in his final years, and back stabbed the current coach because his guy wasn't selected. He is dead to me.

I obviously disagree with his advice but the fact that we need him way more than he needs us is pretty much an indisputable fact. His other options include staying at a team that just went 12-1 or going to the NFL while ours include...Brady Hoke?
January 4th, 2011 at 12:25 PM ^
I want Harbaugh and think Harbaugh is our best bet, but Michigan Football is bigger than one man. Even Bo.
January 4th, 2011 at 1:16 PM ^
Are you even allowed to do that?
January 4th, 2011 at 1:22 PM ^
Epic fail on my part.
January 4th, 2011 at 1:46 PM ^
"Sorry sir, it just felt right."
January 4th, 2011 at 12:26 PM ^
Good god, you don't need to start a thread for every single sentence that comes out of a media person's mouth today.
January 4th, 2011 at 12:27 PM ^
I do not want Jim Rome to be our next football coach.
/On to the next shitty thread about some uninformed media member's opinion
January 4th, 2011 at 1:05 PM ^
Exactly what I thought when I saw the title of this thread
January 4th, 2011 at 12:27 PM ^
thinks his goatee looks sweet!
January 4th, 2011 at 12:28 PM ^
diculous
January 4th, 2011 at 12:45 PM ^
Chocula
January 4th, 2011 at 12:29 PM ^
What was Jim's rationale. Did he say he doesn't want Harbaugh to take the job because we need him more than he needs us. I think everyone needs HArbaugh more than he needs them.
January 4th, 2011 at 12:41 PM ^
Jim Rome is an A-HOLE!!
January 4th, 2011 at 12:47 PM ^
Rome's opinion means so little to me that it really doesn't register. Facts are facts, but an opinion from a horse's rear like Jim Rome only holds as much water as you allow it to.
January 4th, 2011 at 12:41 PM ^
they just don't know it yet.
January 4th, 2011 at 12:47 PM ^
I want you bad.
January 4th, 2011 at 12:43 PM ^
I'm sure it was epic.
January 4th, 2011 at 12:47 PM ^
I cannot stand him. Jim Rome always says negative things about MICHIGAN but says positive thing's about OSU.
REALLY?? REALLY??
January 4th, 2011 at 1:24 PM ^
I'm sure he read that off a huge fax he got. Rome blows.
January 4th, 2011 at 12:45 PM ^
Jim Harbaugh better not catch Rome calling him John.
January 4th, 2011 at 12:47 PM ^
Where's Jim "Don't call me Chris" Everett when you need him?
January 4th, 2011 at 12:57 PM ^
If you Google "Jim Rome" the first two video results are the Jim Everett thing and a pretty good Frank Caliendo impression/mocking.

Even Google knows the guy's a joke.
January 4th, 2011 at 1:04 PM ^
is Jim Everett's little bitch. Everett bitch slapped the hell out of Rome with his curly f@ggot hair. I have NEVER heard Rome say anything good about Michigan or its players. He once called Brady an AVERAGE quarterback. Huh? Are you kidding me right now?
Rome needs to schrivel up and die. How many people listen to him anyway? 10? And they all live in Columbus.
January 4th, 2011 at 1:46 PM ^
I'm not a big Rome fan, but I don't think it is necessary to call him a faggot just because he has curly hair and you disagree with him. Hoping he dies because he didn't say nice things about the team you like...also a little much.
January 4th, 2011 at 1:20 PM ^
You need ESPN more than they need you.
January 4th, 2011 at 2:24 PM ^
also hates soccer, and always goes "hey soccer fan" - before making anti-soccer rhetoric comments...so this makes me hate him...
