CC: Flightaware Blocked
Pretty funny but for all of you flight trackers out there the famous UM plane from past searches has been blocked. Even though its not an offical school plane, its still humourous that they decided to block their whereabouts.

I am a short journey away in the Eureka and Middlebelt area, so I can definitely scout out Metro for the blog if needed, should the folks flying the plane make a slight alteration in their course. If needed, I know someone who lives up by Oakland in Pontiac in case they try to be super-stealth.

You're almost as old as I am (LS&A, '74). But I can't say I haven't missed games. (I lived in Europe for four years and lost interest in things in this hemisphere.) I did make it to the '77 Rose Bowl, the one against USC in which Bo belatedly told Rick Leach and Jimmy Smith to try to win the game by passing. It was also the game in which our mike backer knocked Ricky Bell out of the game (we heard the crack three-quarters of the way up the bleachers)--and Charles White came in to keep us under their cleats.

and see to find this.... Departures from Willow. This link shows which planes are scheduled and to be scheduled to depart from Willow Run each day. It also has links for Arrivals. If I am not mistaken UM charter service is from Kalitta Charters. I could be wrong, correct me if I am wrong. It also states the Planes flight number, which I am sure most of you all know what number you are looking for. Kind of fun just to peek at every day.

Can't one of our fine computer engineers/scientists do a workaround and unblock the plane's travel plans?
Makes you wonder if the folks in the AD read Mgoblog, although flight tracking is widespread.\\
Maybe the students could protest that blocking the plane is depriving them of one of their more fun pasttimes. Schlissel being very pro-student might concur.
