CC-Call Your Shot

I thought this would be a fun way to waste some time today while at work.

Since it appears as though Brady "Nice Guys finnish* last" Hoke is going to be canned today, we should all throw our chips down on the table and declare who we think the next head coach, OC, and DC at Michigan is going to be.

My money:

HC: Tom Herman

OC: Lincoln Riley (No connection here; just a good coach)

DC: Chris Ash (Coached with Herman at Iowa State, OSU)

I agree with DFW, why is there so much "Stitt for HC" talk?  I think Sitt for OC is more appropriate which I would be fine with and from the qoute I read from him is he would be for going to a major program as OC if he had full control.  That's fine by me.  Let's put more of a proven leader in place at HC

When I saw "nice guys finnish last", it brough Leo Durocher's views on the Finnish into a whole new light for me actually. Of course, this quote is more a condensation of a longer passage by Durocher regarding his estimation of where the Finnish people sat in the National League standings, but he would later appropriate the shorter quote.

I'm going with my gut feeling of Les Miles. Harbaugh is a long shot. I have no clue on DC and OC. Not even gonna guess on that. Hopefully the coach we get can bring whoever he's comfortable with.

I won't tell you that.  So there.

(Fair point, but the disdain for Cameron seems to run beyond his abilities to either his personality or history - along the lines of what ReadYourGuard posted above.  I've got no opinion on Cameron one way or the other, apart from remembering he was jockeying with Moeller and Carr back in the day to position himself to inherit the UofM HC job from Bo.)

HC-Les Miles

OC-Cam Cameron

DC-Bo Pelini

Bo would only stay for a year or two and then go for a HC somewhere.  Cam may inherit LSU if they don't want to do a huge search.
