It's not a popularity contest. 99% of this board has no idea was an AD does, yet they want to hire one. It's not who's the coolest guy on campus.
In that case, let's hire Bruce Pearl for the head coach...that guy is fucking nuts and students LOVE him. Go to UT right now, the man is still a God. While we're at it, let's hire Jim Tressel for AD, he's stil beloved by the Buckeyes.
We may not win a game or get anything done, but dammit, if the student will love having the HC send out tweets and having the AD cheer from the student section!
I'm being over the top, but intentionally. People are just throwing out names because someone did something cool. We've completely lost focus of the goal to hire the best candidate and the best fit for Michigan.
