So you use the subject line in your posts but don't read them in other people's posts?

Actually, I think a lot of people generally ignore the subject line so I can see how you were confused; but in your reply you used the subject line so now I'm confused.

Obviously the original post was about Michigan.. My GIF post was supposed to be the MSU fanbase's reaction to the awesome news of McGary and GR3 returning next year. Damn, tough crowd.

3) F the caps

4) their fans are a bunch of white collar nancies who don't know sports, and are just there cause they have money to burn at one of the accepted cool things to do in dc, and this picture captures that perfectly

As a caps fan, gotta disagree with that. The true Caps fan base are dedicated and savvy fans. We probably have some of the best fan sites on the planet and certainly have the best fan base south of Pittsburgh.

Not quite as good a base as the Wings or Pens but good nonetheless. Fom my time in Ann Arbor, very few fans are as dedicated as Wings fans. That said, back on topic.....Big Puppy ad GRIII are back.....happy times......stay classy.

Yes - every sports fan in DC is a government official or a lobbyist who attends sporting events as a changeup to the opera. Stupid comment.

Top 5 team if they return? I think Irvin will be able to fill Timmy's position quite nicely. Obvious drop off at PG, but I'm excited to see Walton and Spike take control.

Given the general media's accuracy in the past few days, I don't know if this is a good thing.  I'm just praying CNN says they're going pro... then we know they're coming back.

It makes sense.  They had to make a decision.  Media is reporting on that decision.  They would like to have some quotes.  Hold a presser and give them quotes, especially since it's two guys making their decisions.  If it was one guy, maybe just draw up a statement.

I'd bet that it is the AD that is pushing for them to all have press conferences. It gets the program in the news again. Think about it. This will make 3 days this week (during a dead period where there is little news to be had) where there is a headline involving Michigan Basketball. The kids probably also like the attention.

CollegeBasketballTalk.com just reported the news as well...

What caught my eye though was this quotation...

Michigan lost Trey Burke and Tim Hardaway Jr. to the draft already this month, but with McGary and Robinson back in the fold, they should have a chance to be pretty good. Spike Albrecht, who scored 17 points in the first half of the national title game, and Nik Stauskas are both back, and point guard Derrick Walton headlines another good recruiting class for John Beilein.

Somebody seems to be forgetting that we have a FIVE STAR recruit in Zak Irvin coming in.We should be more than just "pretty good".

are you sure we're not a top 25 team still for next year?

Yeah, that's what I thought, actually a top ten level team IMHO.

We will do great things again next year!

I can't think of better news on what has become a rather dreary afternoon here in southeast Michigan. In McGary and Robinson, we would be keeping two players that accounted for 36% of Michigan's rebounds this past season as well as 34% of the blocks and about 25% of the scoring together. Between who is staying and who is coming in, the coming season is not looking too bad at all.
