Per CBS Sports: McGary and Robinson to stay
According to Jeff Goodman at CBSSports, both Mitch McGary and Glenn Robinson III will stay for their sophomore season.
I was just about to post this as well, obvious good news is obvious.

But because none of those words rhyme with develop.
EDIT: oops nvm I misread the post above you. my bad.
Hey guys! That one legendary guy we've all heard about that has never committed a typo: THIS IS HIM! On OUR board!
Please have Dewey actually defeat Truman this time.
If true, we have a good basketball team.
Edit: OT: But looks like the Pistons just fired Lawerence Frank
So you use the subject line in your posts but don't read them in other people's posts?
Actually, I think a lot of people generally ignore the subject line so I can see how you were confused; but in your reply you used the subject line so now I'm confused.
He's talking about your reference to Michigan State.
Obviously the original post was about Michigan.. My GIF post was supposed to be the MSU fanbase's reaction to the awesome news of McGary and GR3 returning next year. Damn, tough crowd.
that there were arrests made in Boston yesterday. Don't always believe what you read or hear.
Some reports are incorrect. That's not a particularly good reason to withhold news, though.
1- At least she is hot. So she has that going for her.
2- Wing(s) fans behind them at this TB-WSH game
3) F the caps
4) their fans are a bunch of white collar nancies who don't know sports, and are just there cause they have money to burn at one of the accepted cool things to do in dc, and this picture captures that perfectly
Sounds kind of like some Lakers fans in LA.
"their fans are a bunch of white collar nancies who don't know sports, and are just there cause they have money to burn at one of the accepted cool things to do in dc, and this picture captures that perfectly"
Yes - every sports fan in DC is a government official or a lobbyist who attends sporting events as a changeup to the opera. Stupid comment.
2014? :)
Burke and Hardaway leaving gives me a reason to watch the NBA!
GR3 and McGary coming back makes me smile!
Very happy!
Given the general media's accuracy in the past few days, I don't know if this is a good thing. I'm just praying CNN says they're going pro... then we know they're coming back.

I needed the bleeding to stop! Back to Michigan, love it!
bracketology from ESPN!
They could both use another year anyways.
It makes sense. They had to make a decision. Media is reporting on that decision. They would like to have some quotes. Hold a presser and give them quotes, especially since it's two guys making their decisions. If it was one guy, maybe just draw up a statement.
of those you listed getting first round draft hype, either. Mitch and GRIII did. Quit being a bag of dicks.
Maybe it brings positive attention to the program.
I'd bet that it is the AD that is pushing for them to all have press conferences. It gets the program in the news again. Think about it. This will make 3 days this week (during a dead period where there is little news to be had) where there is a headline involving Michigan Basketball. The kids probably also like the attention.
CollegeBasketballTalk.com just reported the news as well...
What caught my eye though was this quotation...
Michigan lost Trey Burke and Tim Hardaway Jr. to the draft already this month, but with McGary and Robinson back in the fold, they should have a chance to be pretty good. Spike Albrecht, who scored 17 points in the first half of the national title game, and Nik Stauskas are both back, and point guard Derrick Walton headlines another good recruiting class for John Beilein.
Somebody seems to be forgetting that we have a FIVE STAR recruit in Zak Irvin coming in.We should be more than just "pretty good".
This is my decision, until I say it, nothing's true!

debbie downer with the win!
are you sure we're not a top 25 team still for next year?
Yeah, that's what I thought, actually a top ten level team IMHO.
We will do great things again next year!
I can't think of better news on what has become a rather dreary afternoon here in southeast Michigan. In McGary and Robinson, we would be keeping two players that accounted for 36% of Michigan's rebounds this past season as well as 34% of the blocks and about 25% of the scoring together. Between who is staying and who is coming in, the coming season is not looking too bad at all.
EDIT: Meant as a reply to solo dolo
Nothing ever seals up a final four. It's the NCAA basketball tournament. Nothing is ever guaranteed.
Let's try to temper expectations from bat shit crazy to just crazy.
the sun was out earlier and it is nice and warm, but you are right, nice topper for the day if it is true. Gin and tonic, anyone??
