CBS Gonna Put On The Hex?!?!

Submitted by buddha on
Baylor is up at half...I wonder if the NCAA and CBS are getting a bit nervous. I wouldn't be surprised to see a few questionable calls and itchy whistles in the second half on Baylor. Let the hex commence...

This type of OP may be better served as a comment on the open thread for today's hoops. There are a lot of minor threads being started on mgboard now.

On the other hand, Udoh has really developed into quite the passer. I've watched the last three Baylor games and he is definitely much more than just the shot blocker he was at Michigan. Did he ever say exactly why he transferred? IIRC, it had something to do with not wanting to play out on the perimeter.

Udoh was a raw shotblocker under Amaker, but under Beilein he was developing the early stages of a complete game. He wasn't where he is now, obviously, but he was showing flashes of a faceup game. His shooting form got noticeably better and he was stroking 15-footers by the end of the season. I can't remember his exact rationale for leaving, but it was against the wishes of his parents and high school coach. Only his AAU coach seemed to be in favor.

Is it just me or does it seem like Duke gets all the calls? I mean that tech should not have been called. And anything questionable goes in the favor of the Blue Devils.
