Cavs waive Danny Green - Manny Harris in

Submitted by riverrat on

The Akron Beacon-Journal's beat writer is reporting that the Cavaliers have waived Dannny Green, which means that Manny Harris has made the Cavs fifteen-man roster. Good news, methinks...

I once heard that Lyndon Johnson, in order to put a stop to petty squabbling during cabinet meetings, once pulled his penis out of his pants and said something to the effect, "there, now we all know I've got the biggest, can we get to work?" Maybe you could make something out of that.

[EDIT: I don't know how to spell "squabbling"]

Anecdotes range from holding meetings from the toilet to truly impressive amounts of profanity. You could always turn to Robert Caro's multi-volume biography, though only the first three volumes are out so far.

I live in Cleveland and have been a Cavs season ticket holder for several years.  I can tell you the coaching staff here loves Manny and has said he will get minutes this season.

Don't hate on the Cavs please.  We're still a bit hurting over the "decision" and we've got Detroit's own Dan "Lebron's a punk-quitter" Gilbert at the helm.

I selfishly wanted you to return to Michigan for one more season, but hopefully you enjoy success at the next level and represent us well.  Do your thing, son.

HUGE effect this will have in JB's recruiting. Having a JB guy actively playing in the NBA negates a lot of the "Michigan is now a white boy system with no NBA future" crap that is prevalent on the recruiting trail.
