Too soon...

Somewhat off topic, but he doesn't look out of shape to me. I think the "Gerg sucks" tattoo was a bad decision, though.

The tattoo isn't as bad.. i mean it's really an ode to or reflection pf his time while at Iowa it seems. Maybe he can pull an LT and get another tattoo... but for wisconsin

Apparently this may only be referring to the boxers.

No big deal. My cousin has tattooed every one of his former wive's names on his body. Pretty soon it's going to be taboo not to have tattoos of one's past inscribed all over their body.

How many are there?
October 22nd, 2010 at 5:48 PM ^
You know this made me think of an amazing bet. Loser of "The Game" has to get the emblem of the other team tattooed somewhere on their body. I am to much of a puss to do it, but has to be a great bet unless you're betting the last two years or si..... I dont want to talk about it.

There has been a lawsuit filed. Not kidding.

My 87 year old father described tatoos as a "permanent rememberance of a temporay emotion". Seemed pretty accurate to me.
October 22nd, 2010 at 8:29 PM ^
Exactly! Temporary emotions may be forgotten... how better to remember them than with something permanent.

This.

What emotion do they represent? Or GIs who come back from Iraq and lose a friend and get his name tatted on their back?
I don't mean offense, but I'm a young NROTC kid (Navy reserves) and I know a two friends who went to Iraq and only one came back. Thus, the tat.
So, I shall defend all stupid tattoes, and stupid kids because....well, because I'm a dumb kid too!

I got my block M tattoo 2 years ago, and was going to add to it, but wasn't sure...
Should I get "Those Who Stay" written above it, or the full "Those Who Stay Will Be Champions" above and below it?
October 22nd, 2010 at 10:22 PM ^
Get the full phrase otherwise it makes little sense.
October 22nd, 2010 at 10:24 PM ^
I thought the shortened version would be more poetic, and kind of an inside thing. A conversation starter, if you will.
October 22nd, 2010 at 10:41 PM ^
How about "Those who stay" above and "If you know what I mean" below?
October 22nd, 2010 at 10:48 PM ^
Sort of like Lewan's finger mustache? Where are you planning on putting it?
October 22nd, 2010 at 10:50 PM ^
Its on my left lat (back). Not a natural conversation starter, but for all the ladies who may see it ;-)
