Now that I have sufficiently abated a minor heart attack caused by the Aryan Nation's favorite tight end*, I started looking at that tasty cupcake coming down the conveyor belt. It turns out that UMass is ranked 69th overall by Sagarin: http://www.usatoday.com/sports/sagarin/fbt10.htm

UMass is slotted as the third best I-AA team, ahead of Appy State. It's also better than UConn and about half of the rest of I-A. I know it's too early for Sagarin's rankings to mean much (if they ever do), but UMass is not a team we can afford to overlook.
