According to the front page of Rivals and other sources Mike Weber, the 2015 running back from Cass Tech, has received a Michigan offer. The kid was a beast the last half of his sophmore year and would be a great pick up from the Cass pipeline.
Cass Tech RB Mike Weber Offered
Who dat ninja?
Joshua Alabi also from Cass Tech, was offered today as well. He is a 2015 DL
EDIT: Late to the party.
if you double posted, you would still get posbanged ..... and uh thank you for your comment!
Look at how long her toes are. I'm not seeing things, right? That's sort of freaky. Gross.
Rex Ryan disagrees.
I'd let her break my nose with those.
or it's before she got fat.
if she's ever been considered 'fat', then we'll just have to start making up new words for what to call the 96% or whatever of the population with a higher BMI
Today is Kate Upton day on the twitter feed for "@iLikeGirlsDaily". It's off to a good start. Must follow for the tweeps out there...
Rushed for 1,700 yards and 21 touchdowns
Where did you get that? The maxpreps page and Mlive page for Cass Tech only have stats for some games.
That's what Rivals says:
His 247sports profile says the same thing.
No, we only offer terrible players.
From the limited stats online, he had his two best games in the playoffs. Ran for 160 and 2 TD vs Saline and 186 in the championship game vs. Catholic Central.
Wait until you're in your 20s and, played or not, you see kids who were in elementary school when you graduated getting offers. Depressing. Time is a bitch.
Wait until you hit your 30's and the kids of the guys you watched growing up are suddenly on your tv doing things you wish you could have in your prime athletic days.
Could BE your kids.
you thought were old as hell when you were in class at Michigan.
you realize that your children are old as hell, commenting about the recent Michigan student calling your children old as hell.
Hey man, Jake Ryan and Dennis Norfleet were late bloomers and late additions. Keep grinding. I was never good enough to nurture any sort of D1 fantasy. Even if your situation is akin to, "So you're telling me there's a chance..," there is always the
Rudy Kovacs route. Out of state tuition would be brutal, but there are options. I wish you all the best.
What kind of cafeteria food is served at Cass Tech to have all these athletes?
Peanut butter jelly.
Is it that time?
With a baseball bat even.
I suppose this is what I get when I wait till morning to check Mgoblog...beaten to the punch (with a baseball bat) <where he at> <where he at> <now der he go>
yeaaaa boy ( It's peanut butter jelly time! It's peanut butter jelly time! It's peanut butter jelly time! It's peanut butter jelly time! It's peanut butter jelly time! It's peanut butter jelly time!)
it's called ThinkDetroitPAL the Youth football league in Detroit. That's where they are receiving all their talent from. All the top talent in that league is attending or going to Cass Tech with the other top kids heading to East Village Prep or King.
Mike Barwis chocolate milk
Fantastic! Does anyone think Jayru Campbell will get an offer? It seems like he really wants one from everything I've seen, but not sure if the coaches have their eyes on a different prospect
I know coaches have interest in Kevin Dillman out of La Mirada, CA. Ferrigno was out to visit him last week.
Nice, thanks for the update. That's the first i've heard of him, will have to check some film out now. From size alone it seems Dillman is the prototype pro style QB whereas Jayru is more of the dual threat mold...I just don't think I can stomach seeing one of our pipeline school kids going to another rival though I know the coaching staff will do whats best for the team..
He also goes to the same school as 2014 TE Tyler Luatua.
For those of you who don't habla espanol, La Mirada is Spanish for "The Mirada."
We can always count on you for the translations.
I always think about going to these "local" HS games, but never follow through.
Yeah, same here. If Michigan has a commit some year that's driveable, I'd check him out for sure. The most recent close one was Erik Magnuson, but SD is too far for me. You're in OC, right?
Yeah. SD is much closer for me, but the thought of driving on the 5 to make a 7PM game makes me stay home.
Even if I did go, the report I would bring back to the board would be like this:
Recruit X was on the field and did some footbally type stuff. I guess it would be easier to "scout" and report back on what a skill position player does. I wouldn't be able to bring any insightful technical observations. I guess I can always talk about pad-level.
You should never discount you're knowledge. Just talk about pad level and"mean streak."
Damn auto correct, and stupid Droid app. I do know the difference between you're and your, I promise. Also, Hopslam!
Was it Kyle Murphy the OL that signed with Stanford?
That was really grinding my gears. This whole time I was trying to figure out wtf Mirada meant. I just assumed La meant La. Your way makes much more sense.
Now explain the "habla espanol" part.
