Carvin Johnson and Archbishop Rummel in state championship game tonight
Carvin Johnson and Archbishop Rummel (14-0) will clash against West Monroe (14-0) in the state championship game tonight at 7. West Monroe got the No. 2 seed after finishing the season No. 1 in the state, and Archbishop Rummel got the No. 1 seed after finishing the season No. 2 in the state. Good luck to him.

From a recruiting perspective, let's think of LSU as the Indians, and OSU as our War of the Sixth Coalition.

It's on Cox Sports TV... So I assume that's only Cox Cable. Found a radio stream here: http://www.wgso.com/playlist/wgso.asx

They've tried to get on DirecTv apparently but no luck. Looks like it's channel 421 on Dish.

Yeah, just found that out. Also, looks like it's only a 75mi radius around NOLA.
EDIT: Game starts at 7 Central. So that radio link has Fantasy Frenzy and occasionally updates of the 4A championship game until then.

Looks like the game will start closer to 9:00pm. They said some of the games went long, and this game is still in the 3rd quarter.

It's good to see UM have a few recruits playing for championships. I have always believed that it is better to recruit winners than stars from losing programs. There are obviously exceptions to the rule, but when the chips are down in the fourth quarter, I would rather have people on the field who have direct experience in winning.

Stars are for outerspace, tmz, hollywood and pussies.
I can't wait to get this kid on Campus.
Is he an early enrollee?

Apparently after holding West Monroe to 9 points in the first half, Rummel has allowed two touchdowns so far in the third quarter. One on an 86-yard qb keeper. Anyway, it looks rough for Rummel, as they're not producing on offense.

West Monroe shut out Rummel 30-0. Looks as if Rummel was unable to get their offense going. Anyone know if Carvin plays any offense for Rummel? But anyways i feel sorry for him, but hopefully he keeps that head up and gets ready for michigan.

He plays some WR, but he doesn't get the ball much. He's basically just a decoy out there because he's a good athlete. I'm not sure why they wouldn't use him since he's such a good athlete, but oh well - the coach obviously knows what he's doing, since he got them to the state championship game.

It is pretty impressive that quite a few of our recruits got to their state championship game. These kids are used to winning so hopefully that will rub off when they get to Michigan.
