Carvin Johnson and Archbishop Rummel (14-0) will clash against West Monroe (14-0) in the state championship game tonight at 7. West Monroe got the No. 2 seed after finishing the season No. 1 in the state, and Archbishop Rummel got the No. 1 seed after finishing the season No. 2 in the state. Good luck to him. It's good to see UM have a few recruits playing for championships. I have always believed that it is better to recruit winners than stars from losing programs. There are obviously exceptions to the rule, but when the chips are down in the fourth quarter, I would rather have people on the field who have direct experience in winning.

He plays some WR, but he doesn't get the ball much. He's basically just a decoy out there because he's a good athlete. I'm not sure why they wouldn't use him since he's such a good athlete, but oh well - the coach obviously knows what he's doing, since he got them to the state championship game.
