i would love to see the players carry rr ON the field
November 18th, 2009 at 9:27 PM ^
No sugarcoat - I would probably cry.
November 18th, 2009 at 9:29 PM ^
that would be awsome. a possitive moment for richrod. thinking about that happening reminds me of one of the best memories i have watching michigan football, when lloyd got carried off the field after the florida game
November 18th, 2009 at 9:34 PM ^
Maybe if they won the big ten in the process...
November 18th, 2009 at 9:39 PM ^
Seriously? Since when did victories over OSU only matter when they win the Big Ten title? Beating OSU is ALWAYS important.
November 18th, 2009 at 9:59 PM ^
carrying the coach off the field should be reserved for saluting a man for all of his accomplishments (like a final game). It would be a HUGE win for this program but the focus of your excitement should be towards the players... maybe even the seniors since this would be the first time they've beat osu? Maybe you all should carry Brandon Graham off the field...
November 18th, 2009 at 11:28 PM ^
We think it would be awesome to carry him off despite us not winning the Big Ten. I will try to make it simple for you. I don't know if you heard but RR is under a lot of scrutiny right now. No big deal, it's prob a couple pages back in the forums so you didn't see it. People make that mistake all the time. Carrying him off the field would be a huge positive for the program and a nice reinforcement that they are All In For Michigan. A moment like that would make people happy/gleeful/ecstatic/joyful.
November 18th, 2009 at 9:34 PM ^
if this happens, it would rank up there in Michigan upset history. the good kind.
November 18th, 2009 at 9:43 PM ^
If RichRod won on Saturday I would get a couple of buddies together and carry him around A2 for the week. God its been a long time since we beat OSU.
November 18th, 2009 at 9:44 PM ^
Count me in. Do you think he would be OK with Conner O'Neils after the game?
November 18th, 2009 at 9:50 PM ^
You think Rich Rod is a Guinness drinker? Buy him a shot of Jameson's on me!
November 18th, 2009 at 9:59 PM ^
Hell, I'd find him some moonshine if that's what he wants.
November 18th, 2009 at 9:50 PM ^
That would be great...but don't be too disappointed if that doesn't happen. The optimisim around the boards are great, but I have that sinking feeling as the game approaches.
Good D = win
Bad D = halftime loss
November 18th, 2009 at 9:51 PM ^
Well, we haven't had good D all season long, so your prediction doesn't look good.
November 18th, 2009 at 11:13 PM ^
What also needs to be factored in is Pryor's propensity to self-destruct.
Keep in mind he's never played at the Big House before and it will be intense. If he gets rattled and makes some mistakes and we can capitalize on them, well... If Pryor does what he's done and Tressel does what he does and we do what we're capable of doing...
November 18th, 2009 at 9:53 PM ^
Would be "That Moment", in which we could all say "That" was the moment that everything turned around. Toledo, Illinois, Purdue, and even the Horror would all be but a distant memory. Michigan is BACK, and this is the moment that everything came together and the Rodriguez era truly began. All would be right with the world, the investigation and all the struggles would be but an afterthought, and all it would take is a win saturday.
GO BLUE.

If UM wins, RR should carry Brandon Graham off the field.
November 19th, 2009 at 12:55 AM ^
I would love to see BG get carried off the field. Hell, win or lose, the guy deserves it. Been an absolute pillar of the program for 4 years. No one deserves it more at this point.
November 18th, 2009 at 9:56 PM ^
Michigan get their asses handed to them again RR should be carried outta town!
November 18th, 2009 at 10:06 PM ^
How the hell do you call yourself a Michigan fan. I am tired of these damn fair-weather fans and their negative ass attitude. Regardless of our record, we always have a chance to beat OSU.
GO BLUE!!!!!!!!!!!
November 18th, 2009 at 10:09 PM ^
Why don't you go rollerblade into an AIDS tree.
November 18th, 2009 at 10:48 PM ^
That made me not just laugh, but guffaw, out loud. Hilarious.
November 18th, 2009 at 10:12 PM ^
Mary Sue Coleman will carry RR on her shoulders
November 18th, 2009 at 10:13 PM ^
It would behoove the players to carry Rich off the field, in my estimation. This man has endured so much unnecessary crap. Hell, he deserves it.
I want to see the fire in the players' eyes, like at the beginning of the year, when it was Michigan vs. The World. Remember the student section chanting "Rich Rodriguez"? How quickly do you think bandwagon fans would jump right back on that bandwagon?
November 18th, 2009 at 10:18 PM ^
This is exactly what i have been saying to my co-workers all season.
As for your question, unfortunately i think a lot will jump right back on which is total bullshit. You will still have all of RR haters, but lot will come back right away saying, "I have always supported RR."
November 18th, 2009 at 11:17 PM ^
Quemar el bandwagon!
November 18th, 2009 at 10:19 PM ^
If UM wins I'll carry RR off the field
November 18th, 2009 at 10:52 PM ^
If Michigan wins RR should carry Tate around the field while they both point and laugh at Terrelle Pryor.
November 19th, 2009 at 12:33 AM ^
We just need a couple guys to play like Tshimanga tomorrow in order to carry Coach Rodriguez off the field in victory.
Which brings me to another point. Those people who question whether Coach Rodriguez "gets" this rivalry, just look at the way Biakabutuka performed against tUOS. We're talking about a Canadian here, folks. And nobody brought it harder than he did in The Game. You can't roam the hallowed grounds of Schembechler Hall for long before feeling the importance of this rivalry.
I don't know that we'll win, but I know everything will be left on the field. And that's a good feeling.
November 19th, 2009 at 2:59 PM ^
I envisioned this very scene a few days ago, and got myself so worked up about it I actually started to tear up a bit.
November 19th, 2009 at 3:04 PM ^
All the bitchin and moanin they've been doing the last two years have been as destructive as a Nick Sheridan pass.
