...great news (especially for Carlos), but not OT.
of my keyboard.
So this thread would be OT.
I don't know if former Michigan players should be OT though. Maybe a semi-OT.
does it really matter if its ot. The title is "Carlos brown to the saints." We all know exactly what its going to be about.
No, I was confounded, thought we were recruiting Fitzgerald Toussaint's little brother
But but but there iz rulez.
OFFTOPIC
* Pro sports of any variety
...but it also says this:
On Topic:
- Anything [University of] Michigan sports related
Clearly former Michigan players in the pros, in the private sector, fighting cancer, etc. are "Michigan sports related." The fact is that there are hundreds of threads on this here board that involve former players and the vast majority are not listed as OT or Semi-OT. So, given the ambiguity that exists in the MGoBoard FAQs, it's clear that the MGoBlogerati have spoken and the On Topic interpretation is the one that's in effect.
I'm with MGoShoe on this one - there is a big difference between "NFC Championship open thread" or "Who should be NFL MVP this year" and "Brandon Graham taken #13 overall by the Eagles." All of those threads are about pro sports, yes? But two of them are focused on the NFL (but may contain posts about former M players, if applicable) and one is focsued on a former M player in the NFL. This post most certainly fits the latter description.
Under your argument, the posts about Manny Harris or DWarren leaving early for their respective drafts would have to be OT as well, and I think we all agree that that's not the case. In fact, under your argument, any posts including USC football should also be OT (ZING!).
And we wish him the best of luck.
He could be a very good special teams player and possibly get a few carries/catches in certain situations this season or in the future. His lack of balance and tackle breaking ability makes me (and most others) believe he will never be an every down back, but he could be a specialty back and I'm sure can do well in punt/kick coverage
he signed with the Saints. He may never be a feature back, but he has enough talent to stick and get a handful of carries every so often.
But the Saints have Thomas and Bush. Who is their #3 RB?
Lynell Hamilton. however the Saints have kept up to 5 active RBs on their roster because of how they use them. Bush should not be looked to as part of the RB depth chart.
Didn't see this posted anywhere but Greg Matthews signed with the bears
Mathews. Come on people, get it right.
I fucked that up. I'll do the honors and neg-bang myself.
Masochist?
Four years on the team, and we still can't spell his name correctly.
Same with Hemingway. There's only one "m", people.
...mathews, warren, and brown have signed. any word on minor?
i just picked it up, greg mathews and brandon minor have both signed with the bears
Brown will be a great fit for the Saints and I think he will blow up if he stays healthy.
Undrafted to the NFL champs. That's a great turn of events for Carlos. I just hope he doesn't sprain his elbow signing the contract.

We'll at least be able to see some of these guys during preseason, right?
