Those are high school type numbers. He's playing awesome. Hopefully he will continue to do well.

It seemed that he was ripping off yards on runs to the left today. It worked and we went away from it. Then we went back to it late and it worked again. We then got away from it.
I get that we can't run the same play every down, but why go away from it? I was at the game so I'm not sure if IU made an adjustment. Anyone know?

that you run it until they stop it. Perhaps with our spread, where we spread the field both vertically as well as horizontally, it's against the philosophy to stick with one play too much. Maybe.

Run game was effective and I could not understand why we went away for a bit. If the D is on the field too much, why not run the ball and rest your D. The other bonus to this is the protection of Tate. Either way we are 4 - 0 and I'm sure Rich Rod has his reasons.

If he can duplicate these numbers, or at least stay above 6 ypc, against MSU and Iowa, I like this team's chances to at least split those two road games.

...I really like their chances to split those two road games.

It's great to see Carlos finally healthy and doing so well. At the end of the game, however, I was glad to see Minor getting ball and chewing out that first down with some tough runs. Rage on!

out of place given the amount of ass searching going on here for a team with a 4-0 start and 89 freshmen and sophomores on its roster.
