"3rd post" because of the way you posted and what you (and mgoblog) had to witness you immediately vaulted into some type of contention for NFL grade posting etiquette

processor was slightly spazmodic - have no idea how that happened.
January 15th, 2015 at 5:54 PM ^
I wonder what JT Barrett honestly thinks of this
January 15th, 2015 at 4:22 PM ^
Wow. You hardly ever see somebody do this at a press conference.

Lewan was gonna be a top 5 pick and it was surprising he decided to come back. I doubt Cardale Jones would be a first round pick.
January 15th, 2015 at 4:23 PM ^
Him and Barrett next year will be a total soap opera.
He better be ready for the pressure because after that ego driven stunt he is going to be in for some Jamies Winston/Johnny Manziel type of scrutiny.
I don't think this is good news for OSU really. Let the infighting comense.
January 15th, 2015 at 4:23 PM ^
Why have a press conference for this? OSU must pay better.
January 15th, 2015 at 4:31 PM ^
So must Michigan since Taylor Lewan and Trey Burke did this.

Didn't Taylor Lewan do the same? Also, during the press conference he made note of the fact that he was surprised with the fuss that was raised and that it was just supposed to be a small announcement with friends and family. You can't put the blame on a kid for something the media makes into an overblown fiasco.
All that being said, let's go out and knock the snot out of him or whoever actually plays this coming fall...
January 15th, 2015 at 9:06 PM ^
Thank you for actually "getting it" here. He made this decision in a public forum because it was important to him to remind the underprivilged kids from the area of Cleveland he is from that it is important to stay in school and get an education. His uncle, who is a father figure in his life, is also on his deathbed in hospice care in Cleveland and he was visiting him while he was up there. Cardale actually has a really funny sense of humor and I think calling a press conference to announce he was staying was brilliant: if people are criticizing the move they don't understand his personality, the circumstances surrounding the announcement, and that it's kid of newsworthy when the QB who just lead a team to a title and has NFL options announces that he is coming back.
January 16th, 2015 at 6:25 AM ^
Stop pretending to be a Michigan fan, or at least implying it with your handle. Apparently Michigan fans' opinion of this was important enough to you that you created an account to discuss it.
January 15th, 2015 at 4:24 PM ^
Not sure I want that anyway, even though he is a great QB. There is no way all three stay at OSU.
January 15th, 2015 at 9:10 PM ^
Yeah, Braxton will probably come and just tattoo a big ole' block M over the top of his buckeye tats
January 15th, 2015 at 4:24 PM ^
Definitely an ESPN employee.
Hearing Cardale is leaving. If so-wish him all the best. Young man took FULL advantage of his limited opportunities. Played w/ great courage

That's classic.
January 15th, 2015 at 4:46 PM ^
Kirk just reported that Oakland is still in play...
January 15th, 2015 at 8:50 PM ^
Miles to Michigan.
January 15th, 2015 at 5:12 PM ^
What happened to "the best defensive coordinator in the country" Jon Tenuta?
January 15th, 2015 at 4:33 PM ^
Kirk is now taking sports investigative reporting lessons from this guy....
January 15th, 2015 at 4:48 PM ^
Who took his lessons from Herbstreit.
January 15th, 2015 at 4:50 PM ^
It's the Herbstreit kiss of death.
January 15th, 2015 at 4:24 PM ^
Only reasonable explanation. Urbs must have sold him a bridge.
January 15th, 2015 at 4:24 PM ^
and McGary had one. As did Burke the year before. Easy does it, fellas.

You sound like a whiny child.
January 15th, 2015 at 4:32 PM ^
What did you wear to your last press conference?
January 15th, 2015 at 5:24 PM ^
January 15th, 2015 at 5:43 PM ^
And that's yours?

January 15th, 2015 at 4:34 PM ^
Did you even listen to him or were you distracted by his t-shirt?
And speaking of brain cells, when you have a "First" in a comment, proper grammar requires a Second. And while I know your misspelling of "athlete" was likely a typo, you need to avoid those kind of mistakes when you are disparaging someone else's intelligence.
January 15th, 2015 at 5:27 PM ^
Second of all this the same fucking kid who said we dont come to play school..so yeah my opinion still stays. Did you even know Cardel Jones was still at osu? Plus this qb draft class is horrible, he has two maybe three guys ahead of him if he went pro

Yea his general studies degree will make him $200k a year and he will be secured for life. Those guys who do both are very rare and those are the guys who have both gifts; to be a good athlete and a good scholar.

Braxton was in the Heisman conversation. Now off to GRCC or GVSU or something like that.
January 15th, 2015 at 4:37 PM ^
GRCC doesn't have a team anymore. If he went to Grand Valley on the other hand, me and all of Allendale would be ecstatic.
January 15th, 2015 at 4:49 PM ^
Brax will move to skill position where he rightfully belongs.

January 15th, 2015 at 6:24 PM ^
looking at those negs, I guess a lotta people here really feel strongly about Jones's committment to his education.
OK then.
January 15th, 2015 at 4:24 PM ^
The craziest thing about all this was that he had to make a decision three days after his last game. The NFL Draft isn't until April, so why do players need to announce three months in advance their intentions?
