Is it just me or does it seem like Izzo gets away with some pretty ridiculous behavior on the sideline?  Several times he was 2-3 feet above the box and 2-3 feet onto the court clapping his hands like a maniac while Trey was dribbling the ball up right next to him.  I'm all for passion but get your little ass back in the Box!

We won by 1 point at home, and nearly lost it in the final seconds. In the Big Ten, a win is a win and you got to get the ones at home, so I'll take it but I won't make too much of it. If we beat them again in east lansing, that will really turn some heads and say something about basketball in this state. Frankly, I don't see us losing to them next time around. They aren't going to get that much better in 5 games and hopefully by the next round Hardaway is out of his little offensive slump and Smotyrcz is out of his....dont even know what to call it.

We didn't play a great game by any means.  We shot 29% from three, 61% at the FT line, got outrebounded by nearly a 2-1 margin, and had just eight assists.  But we still won.  Yeah, we may not have won if this game hadn't been at Crisler, but we probably also won't play this badly the next time around.  I bet Hardaway will have a big game in East Lansing.

basketball teams rarerly play "great games", especially when both teams are giving max efforts. It takes the prettiness out of the game, thus it looks as if they aren't playing their best. State fans surely think their team didn't play well either. When you have good athletes hotly contesting everything you are trying to do, you are going to have ugly moments. These are two evenly matched teams, who are likely to battle down to the wire in EL.

".... .... 50% of the loss is on Appling dribbling off his own #$%#$% foot, 50% of the loss is on @#$@#$ Burke, and 50% of the loss is on guys NOT MAKING PLAAAAAAAAAAYSSSS. It was killing him to complement Burke.  Except for the couple of guys he threw under the bus, as usual, the rest played well but were just too darn tired at the end.

Makes it sound like he's playing with all freshmen after having lost all of his more experienced players.  Um, coach, you were the #9 team in the country, for a reason.  Youhave plenty of talent; you just lost to a team with as much talent who toughed it out a bit more than your team.
