Cannot wait for Brandon Peters

Submitted by Ron_Lippitt on

Seeing what great QB play looks like now that the "real" Rudock has appeared, it makes me giddy to imagine the potential of the next 3-4 years with Brandon Peters as our QB -- combined with Harbaugh.

Dude is a stud.

EDIT:  Missed the highlight thread a few posts down, which officially makes me an asshole.  Mods please delete, unless you find anything compelling.

I think it would be interesting to see how Rudock would do with another year with Harbaugh. I really hope the light has finally "come on" for Rudock after 8 games. Rudock was throwing darts out there on Saturday and looked pretty comfortable. Obviously not going to happen but it would be an interesting experiment to see if he improved even more after a whole offseason and spring ball of working with Harbaugh and staff.

The most popular and lauded player on the team is the backup QB, unti he starts a game.

This is an extension of that.  Kid looks great, but rumors around O'korn's development and the way Harbaugh likes to handle freshmen QBs (redshirts, see Andrew Luck), suggest this wont be happening next year. Be excited, but give all these young guys time to develop under Harbaugh.

Future is bright, no need to rush the studs out of the stable.

And as others have pointed out, Rudock looked great last week (albeit against Indiana), but he has been playing much better over the back half of the season.  Harbaugh!

Let's enjoy how this season plays out.

Wow, such a different feeling to apparently have options at the QB position in the future.

Will Shane Morris transfer?  I hope not because he has been true blue and a great ambassador for the program and never complained.  That being said, he needs to do whats best for him.

Discuss....

Shane's attitude during "whatever" this is that is going on has been good for the Team, the Team, the Team.

I really hope he's gonna be able to get his degree by the summer, that way he has some options if it doesn't happen here.

And while all of us hope he is great, can we not learn from past players who had huge expectations?  For every one Jabrill Peppers, there are five that don't pan out.   Let him be a kid while we root for our team.  It's funny how fandom works out like that...

I think Harbaugh burns VV's redshirt and he gets some time at QB in Wildcat formations. He won't be the starter but he plays a couple downs a game.

My best guess is Speight is our #1 QB next year.
