stupid Pistons and their refusal to tank properly
rundown of Michigan's riser

so much for that
This list is completely arbitrary and not a genuine analysis of the relative merits of state fossils.
will be michigan's highest pick in a while
money has to go somewhere
I am only motivated by people who have no opinion about me.
the just released schedules were a flat-out statement that the B10 doesn't believe SOS will matter in playoff selection
but I thought that draft was supposed to be incredibly loaded?
Prediction time Fellas
3-3 Shootout Coin flip USA
3-2 Canada. Nash gets the winner. Further prediction, they meet again in the semis.
but you think he's only going to get 1 shot off? Plus he's a basketball player, he can't be good on skates. Good thing there are no other athletes named Nash in Canada.
"So I come out of Ohio Stadium after we beat the Buckeyes, and right there on the hood of my friend's car, some one took a dump, in the shape of an 'O'. no shit. Oh, sorry, bad pun."
RED WINGS RED WINGS RED WINGS!!!!!!
"Ohio is like a giant turd that Michigan just can't pinch off"
I think the US will be doing more bruising. Canada's game has been really soft so far with not enough grinding and hitting and too much fancy passing that doesn't go anywhere (for 4 of 6 periods anyway) They're playing the same type of hockey that they played in Turin while the US is playing with a chip on its shoulder.
I think the US wins this one 4-2.
"You should know I bleed blue but I ain't a crip though
and I got a gang of brothers walkin with my clique though"
I'll agree with most of what your saying. Canada's een soft with fancy passing, but the physical size and speed of the teams is different. Canada has looked very slow the first 2 games. The USA as looked fast. If Canada wins it will be their size and shooting ( though it wasn't used against CH ). If the USA wins it will likely be the odd man rushes generated by their team speed.
Personally, I m not able to make a rational prediction that I can allow to escape my subconscious .
Something was bothering me about Canada's game and I figured out what it was in that first period. They play like its an NHL all-star game. All of them, from Brodeur out, are trying crap that they would NEVER try in an important NHL game.
Canada's lucky it isn't 4-1 after the first.
Uh...the USA could say the same (in terms of the score). They can't keep giving up so many shots.
Seems to me like Miller has a pretty clear view of most of those shots. The US is playing way grittier...two Americans between the last defender and Brodeur on that power play goal, no one trying to move them out of there. Similar situation on the third goal (though Brodeur's impression of a fish flopping around out of water trying to swipe at the puck factored in too)
Aren't pretty much all hockey players gritty? It's like a bunch of Wes Welkers and Drew Dileos all over the ice.
5-3. Fuck yeah.
Biz hundert azoi ve tsvantsik
righteous. Incredible game. Do I win anything? A cookie?
You win the Internet times infinity.
psychotic is more accurate.
think Death Star versus small, one man fighters... yeah, yeah, I like that. And always shoot for Brodeur's thermal exhaust port, right below the main port.
Brian Rafalski, first two US goals!
Unfortunately, audio is in Polish. Can't get CTV's feed to work. Video quality is good though.
nbcolympics.com not working? video's real nice there. and in english if you're so inclined.
"Play hard and with great effort"
by Canada's power forwards. More ice time for JMFJ please.
USA 10 canada 0. they will get their two current points erased in the 3rd period.
Those three Canadians taking each other out was great.
/It feels dirty rooting against Babcock, but "KILL JACK KILL!"
USA USA USA USA!!!!!!!!!!
GO BLUE! (THAT blue AND the other blue)
"Good evening, and welcome to Michigan Stadium for this the one-hundred thirty-second season of Michigan football, and the thirty-ninth meeting between Michigan and Notre Dame." -Carl Grapentine, September 10, 2011
I loved the 1960 throwbacks the U.S. wore. I'd like them to stick with those (or the 1980 ones) instead of the "modern" look they usually wear.
