Can our synchro team win?

Submitted by toomer18 on

I don't know antything about synchronized swimming, but does our squad have a chance this season?  Do we even have a team?  Can they even hold their breath long enough to compete in the Big Ten?

Im tire of football talk, i need this bye week.

you're just in time.  the swimming and diving team have their first meet this saturday, against notre dame.  but if we lose, i insist that dave brandon look for a coach who can bring us a championship NOW.

The last recruiting class was fantastic, but I'm not sure about the system the coach runs, it seems limbs are just flailing everywhere. It is a jumbled mess, and I for one am just sickened and Bi-furious about the whole thing.

My wife was on the U of M Synchro team from like 2002-2004, and would like to report that: no, they have no chance.

Although that's due more to the team being a club team rather than an NCAA sport, and they have to play teams like Stanford.

Related to this, she had a meet at OSU one year, and the OSU synchro girls made the visiting U of M girls some brownies and cookies, which the U of M girls merrily ate. She questioned my revulsion and suspicion regarding the brownies, saying that girls aren't silly about the rivalry...but I feel like I got the last laugh. She had to have her gall bladder removed five years later.

Coincidence? Absolutely not.
