Calvin Magee Pays Fort Myers A Visit

Submitted by SWFlaBlue on

Coach Magee spent his Friday night taking in the South Fort Myers/Fort Myers game joined by a couple of Clemson coaches. Both Dallas Crawford and Sammy Watkins did what they do - providing plenty of explosive, well dreaded moments to help the Wolfpack cruise to a victory. I do think, however, that the kicker from Fort Myers may have caught Magee's attention after he drilled a 43-yarder with at least 10 yards to spare in the 1st quarter and followed it up by kicking off through the end zone.

I wonder where the rest of the staff spent their Friday night?

Coaches were at DeAnthony Arnett's game, Kevin McReynold's game, Crawford/Watkins game, and Dr. Phillip's game. I assume more schools were visited as well.

I hope they spent their night at a game where the final score was 4 to 4 because the defense's were so dominant both teams got two safety's and neither offense, despite the presence of not one, not two but 17 high school All American offensive players were able to generate a first down.

And after the game we set up a "sign up here for a Michigan Scholarship Offer" stand outside the stadium where there was a line a mile long as every player on defense wanted to go Blue.

That would be nice.
