Thats exactly how I came up with my name.

Well that settles it. if your from Traverse City AND you know people, then it must be true.

FWIW my family is connected to Fisher's high school program.....and the coaches all seem to think he wants to stay as thin as possible at the next level. Its not the end of the world either.....although he is a prospect with a high upside he is lazy and thats a fact cause I have seen him play in person.

But what you said is ridiculous. "Jake wants to play for Oregon bc he doesn't want to bulk up" is like saying a QB wants to play in the spread because he doesn't want to get good at throwing. Just because some of Oregon's OTs weren't massive didn't mean they liked it that way.

I thought Oregon could have used some beef against Auburn. Big, Wisconsin Elephantesque O-lineman would have worked nicely down around the goal line, where their small and fast line had issues with Auburn's big and fast line..

To me it seemed like the Oregon OL was getting blown back consistently.

I'm sure that the fact that Oregon just played in a NC game while we're a gigantic question mark right now has nothing to do with it.

I'm sorry but the kid wanted to come to Michigan up until a month ago and we were still in the Big Ten then. Our lineman are definitely not small, but they aren't Wisconsin huge either. I don't think the new staff is going to tell him he has to be 325 pounds. He's about the same size as Lewan so I'd see him bulking up to about 300 pounds which is about what the average pro lineman is.

180 degrees different than you.

You're reading Tom's "I'm not optimistic" emails as a positive sign?

This that closely.
Shutting up now, obviously off base.
February 1st, 2011 at 2:38 PM ^
Wondering if there are any other OTs that we've been in contact with that we're just not hearing about.
February 1st, 2011 at 2:45 PM ^
I wonder if Flavin or Nowicki could still be flipped. Too bad we didn't pull Westerman, should have been one we could have pulled with Roh and Lewan here.
February 1st, 2011 at 3:53 PM ^
Are you saying that since Lewan and Roh are from Arizona? Or, are you thinking they all went to the same school? Roh and Lewan went to Chaparral in Scottsdale and Westerman goes to Hamilton in Chandler.

Good heavens man! Get a hold of yourself. He's announcing tomorrow at 8:00 am.

"Just talked to my boy who chilled with deathony .. And your Olineman who were are trying to steal went last weekend to Oregon as well and said he's going to Oregon .. Haha" my roommate from Oregon big duck fan just texted me that this morning cause I told him the other day we might lose one of our oline recruits. Sounds like they might have snaked Arnett away from sc too. Who knows what's true.. But that's what that ass clown texted me this morning. He doesn't spell very well.

arnett wants to play in the SEC, period.

"Sounds like they might have snaked Arnett away from sc too."
Last I checked, Arnett was a Tennessee commit...just saying, but your boy's boy needs to lay off the meth.

I believe he us talking about DeAnthony Thomas, top rated db from l.a. Who has been a USC verbal for awhile. He quietly took a trip to Oregon last weekend.
