Calling all MGoWikipedians
Michigan State is unleashing a massive amount of spurious and unfounded edits upon all sports articles, as some fellow editors and I had to lock Michigan-related pages.
Please be mindful of Sparty trolls on Wikipedia. It appears they're...everywhere.

a certain other site did us no favors by editing the MSU pages. it led to the RCMB editing a lot of things in really distasteful ways. then Wikipedia locked our pages from anonymous edits while some really shitty things remained up.
if you are able to make edits: please just fix the vandalism and keep it at that. show class and keep it between the lines. the fun fact is that making edits takes 13x longer than merely clicking Undo

So I came across a Notre Dame blog (www.domerdomain.com), and I saw some intersting comments about the game on Saturday. Here are a few, quote for quote.
"I live in Ann Arbor, my sister in-law's husband is a Walmart Wolverine. They are the most worst fanbase in all of sports. Basically what you are sayin if you pick Michigan over Michigan State is that you like the Germans from WWII more than the Germans from WWI...Nazi lover. Muck Fichigan.
Seriously Michigan fan's are trash. They whine worse than any of the recent whining you've seen on these boards and they've never lost a football game. Every single loss has a reason why Michigan didn't lose, the motto is, "Michigan never loses a football game, the clock just runs out."
"Go Michigan State. Frankly I cannot stand to see Michigan succeed, I hate it. Michigan State also has a chance to win out in the Big Ten because they don't have to play tOSU...losing to an undefeated Spartan team or 1 loss Spartan team in OT on a fake FG sounds fair enough.
I still can't get over the fact Dayne Crist sat on the sideline the first half of the Michigan game and we only lost by 4 at the end of the game. =/ We could've and should've beaten UofM. MSU on the otherhand were rewarded for their coach having balls of steel."
In all honesty, I find these humorous. Apparently, we all make excuses for every game we lose, but what did this idiot just say about the Michigan game? I know, I am horrible for even reading these things, but I find it interesting to hear below-par schools talk crap about us "Walmart Wolverines."

I find it funny that I'm a wal-mart wolverine even though I went to a school that is better for what I studies than Michigan, and earned a double B.A. In the process

I'm not saying that any of us are "walmart wolverines." I think that's the stupidest thing I have ever heard to be honest. I'm just pissed about mediocre football programs bashing michigan. that's all.

I was called a Wal-Mart Wolverine by a guy at the UM-ND game this year...he was wearing a ND hat, a ND tshirt, and he went to school at (drumroll please..............)
Northern Illinois University.
I almost died of an irony overdose

i would presume the bar is "could get into UM but didn't go"

Wow, ND fans calling Michigan the worst. I have been in bars where ND fans cheer replays from the previous year because they have nothing else to cheer. At least Michigan cheer for what is happening now and not what happened in the past.

So the one fanbase with more non-alum fans than UM is harping on the Wal-Mart thing... right. I'm sure that every Catholic who roots for Notre Dame went to the university.

Working on it. Rich Rod's page got trashed.
EDIT: It seems like many of the edits have been fixed.

So let's face it, there are alot of Michigan fans who didn't attend Michigan; MSU and other school's fans refer to them as Walmart Wolverines. Michigan was athletically superior (and still is) at most sports for so long and the Athletic Department was run so successfully since the Canham days that we have the endeared support of the majority of the state of Michigan's citizens. Our opponents and competitors don't like it, so they try to take a shot at us by affiliating us with the worlds largest public corporation by revenue (Wal-Mart literally is the leader and best in it's industry lol).
Anyone that uses "Wal-Mart Wolverine" does it out of their jealousy and envy.

avg ACT for UM was 27 avg for moosu was 21. Of course more people are capable of going green. Just more of the little man syndrome coming from our little brother.
