Call me crazy...

I may be drinking too much blue kool-aid, however, I think that this Rosenberg incident may be what this team needed. We may even be thanking him for this article by seasons end! Because, if I was a player on this team, I would be angry as hell and would want to channel that to the field. This team will have a chip on its shoulder (like it didn't already need an excuse) and will play like it. Just my 2 pennies... Go Blue!

We'll have to wait and see, but I see a minimal effect either way. I play college football, and I can say with some certainty that the majority of this is not bulletin board material to get 20 year old kids pumped up for the Broncos. I would venture a guess that the whole team has tried to move past this entirely already

As in, like, you are on a team NOW? Obviously, you don't play for Michigan, because your post time of 11:31 PM indicates that you are not at practice with the rest of the team. I agree with you on the "minimal" effect either way for the team, and I hope that happens. I mean, I want them excited--but a coach will tell you that we don't want them so jacked up for this that they have an emotional letdown for next week. And it would be very hard to ride a high emotional wave for an entire season.

You Crazy. JK... I do like how a lot of Michigan supporters have come together on this issue and it sort of has galvanized the community...

First, I will NEVER thank Rosenberg for that piece of trash he wrote. NEVER. Second, even if this does galvanize the team and the MGocommunity, what's it going to result in? One additional win? Two? If this means we finish 8-4 rather than 6-6, it's not worth it because..... finally, even if Michigan is completely exonerated, this thing will follow us around for a long time. Coaches will have to answer questions from parents of potential recruits about practice time and stuff like that for years to come. Reporters will be questioning new players about practice, etc.... This thing will follow us around for years. Make no mistake, Rosenberg has damaged this program in a way that is not easily repairable. Not critically, but there has been damage nonetheless.
