No its not. I never said it was guaranteed we were going to sign anyone else, but the chances are good. We now have room for two OL and those two could be filled by potentially better recruits. Not sure why it is asinine. Lets wait and see if we get any more commits before you go saying a comment is asinine.

I have a feeling this is part of the reason he switched his commitment. Definitely more playing time eslewhere, especially with the recent news that at least one of these guys is (probably) on board.

Edit: Also, if we do land both of them, that would make our OL class two 3-stars, two 4-stars, and three (!!) 5-stars (to at least one site). Holy smokes.

I think we could even see everyone winding up with 4 stars or better (from at least one ratings service) before things are through. I'd be more surprised if Braden went down or steady as opposed to up. He's got some good buzz now, as does AJ Williams. Bars' school seems lower profile, so he might not be able to move up as easily, but the talent is there.

Best of luck to the kid. Committed to play before everyone knew how good this class was. I hope he does great things at Cincinatti. I think our OL haul is still top notch.

Good luck at Cinci, Caleb. I can understand where he's coming from...would have been extremely hard for him to work his way up the depth chart with the OL haul we have coming in.

I'm glad he gets to stay home and play, and be close to his family. A lot of kids don't get the chance to stay home and still play division 1 football. Good luck to you, Caleb.

Of all the O-line commits he always seemed like the odd one out whenever people spoke about the future plans for the O-line arrangement. If that was his feeling as well, I feel bad for the kid considering that he was one our first commits of the class.

The eternal irrational homer in me feels that this is a sign that the coaches contacted him, indicating that they think/know/believe that both Diamond and Garnett will commit.
