Congratulations to CJ, one the finest Michigan Men on campus. He will be missed and it will be no surprise to see him continue to rise up the coaching ladder. Beilein's staff is quality from top to bottom with guys who do things the right way on and off the court. Very happy for one of my favorite former players : )

Article points out that the new head coach at Marist was an ass't under Beilein at WVa, replacing Jeff Bower, who was named general manager of the Detroit Pistons.  Could training and experience lead him back to the area some day?

“He comes from a wonderful family and is very bright. He has a familiarity with the MAAC, having played two years at Manhattan, and has been tutored as a player and coach by Coach Beilein for the last seven years. Clearly, he has the total package to make an immediate impact in our basketball program.” - Mike Make, discussing Lee

It is interesting to see the Beilein coaching tree now extending out from Ann Arbor now, so it will be very interesting to see how things go for Lee at Marist. I would think, however, that the experience gained in Ann Arbor is some excellent experience  - student, player and basketball staffer under Beilein, if you will. Good luck to him in Poughkeepsie.

He'll have plenty of experience when he returns to UofM to be the "LaVall Jordan" of HC LaVall Jordan's staff, along with associate head coach Bacari Alexander.

I wonder who will be the next Director of Program Personnel. I can think of a few former Michigan players I'd like to see join the staff.
