I wonder what the status of his recruitment is at this point. He seemed very interested in coming for an official. It would be great to see him come up for Big Chill weekend.
Behind a dynamic performance by cornerback Byron Moore Jr. and the heroics of backup quarterback Ryan Dayton, Harbor College made history Saturday night at home.
No one was more important to the title-clinching victory than Moore, the former Narbonne star who transferred from USC to play this season at Harbor. He had two interceptions, returning one 30 yards for the game's first TD, recovered a fumble, and held highly regarded receiver Chris Gant without a catch.
"They said if I could hold Gant in check, the rest of the defense would take care of business, so that's what I did."
"Byron really made a difference for us tonight," Peabody said. "We game-planned with him on Gant and everyone played so well on defense. He's a special player, like John White. I look forward to watching him on TV for years to come."
