"This is really important to be here," Lewan said. "I'm here to give back and help out my teammate."
Boneless pussy makes me sad.
There are so many lesser message board replies for this but I will save my childlike behavior for the possibility that Borges is not fired
Honestly, though, it's Fred who has been known to have his mouth full when working from the box. I can't blame him.
And of course when Michigan plays on the west coast I'm in Michigan for Christmas.
You dodged a bullet this year.
I live in place that is a geographical oddity... 17 hours from anywhere. I always thought Denver would be a good place for a bowl.
They mention UT as a possible opponent. Borges vs. GERG? 2 of our most esteemed coordinators pitted against each other assuming that Al makes it that long.
= instant annihilation
The Asian Zing sauce...
Asian Zing is my personal favorite.
agreed! I love me that Asian zing!
With that avatar.
I fully expect a garlic parmesan vs. honey bbq fight similar to last year's bowl.
Spicy Garlic or Hot BBQ is where it's at....
Until you realize the whole field at the BWW bowl will be booby trapped to make sure the game goes to at least 8OT.
[Somewhere in a Spokane Buffalo Wild Wings two bros lament that the BWW bowl is about to end after only 2OT]
"DEVIN GARDNER DOES IN FOR THE WINNING TOUCHD-...NO! A FIGHTER JET BLEW UP THE ENDZONE. ANOTHER OVERTIME!!"
BWW, Gator or Heart of Texas...
I'm good with any of them, no need for any drama, let the guys pick and we'll show up to play.
The bowl guys all over have done a nice job in the past few years IMO, creating nice matchups that force a long dramatic contest that's very cool to watch. With the possible exception of the Golden Balloon last year but that was by default.
I hope Gorgeous Al is on notice we need another wizardly performance of trickery, sleight of hand, and misdirection because we can't pound it up the middle....yet. When he looked tired and beaten down in his last presser I was thinking it was because he was spending like 18 hours a day looking at Ohio film for the whole year trying to identify where he could burn them up.
Will be great to get the guys healed up and play somewhere warm after all this ice cold smashmouth stuff. I truly hope Gibbons can play, in my mind he himself is an incredible success story with a big turnaround from where he first started.
The BWW Bowl is great... playing against another slumming power from another weak conference in a new destination on a Saturday night? Rad
I wasn't being facitious
It's hard to be something that doesn't exist.
Garlic is the way to go!!!
I am traumatized by this season, so I just want an easy opponent, no matter what bowl.
Isn't the BWW bowl the first pick after the capital 1 (in other words, pick 2 after the BCS)? Somehow I doubt we go that high. OSU, MSU, Wisconsin, and at least one of Minnesota and Iowa going ahead of us. Maybe our respective performances yesterday jump us over Nebraska.
You're forgetting the Outback Bowl.
So Wisconsin for Cap One, Iowa for Outback, then it's either Nebraska or UM for the BWW Bowl, and then the Gator Bowl gets next one, with Minny in the Texas Bowl
I wish you could get a variety pack... Thai Curry, Parmesan garlic, asian zing, and jammin jalepeno.
Apparently it is so potent that BWW in Canada cant import the sauce. My fav for sure.
and pre-game I saw a Texas Toadhouse ad.
Already have tickets to BWW Bowl, hotel room, and rental car (for the drive from Vegas on the 28th), on the hope that UM plays there. Would LOVE to see a UM Bowl game in person.
Have an extra seat? I'm in Vegas too and would make that trip if that's where Michigan is slotted.
At least, that's what I was assuming given their Big 12 ties.
Depends... the Outback may think the Huskers provide a better chance for ratings and ticket sales than Iowa.
CBS has us projected in the Gator bowl against Vanderbilt. Because this is the absolute best option i've seen on the internets, I'm taking it as gospel. Carry on, guys!
Only because I live in PHX and tickets to watch two tire fires play are going to be cheap.
Great. A perfect end to another mediocre season. Maybe I will go to BWW and watch the game. I will try and eat enough beer and wings to forget this crap ever happened.
Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl would be nice to watch after Michigan wins the GLI earlier in the day at Comerica.
