Buying / Selling UM tickets thread with spreadsheet

Submitted by will on

[UPDATE 8/26/2014 from Seth:]

While the ticket spreadsheet was awesome for its time, we've known for some time that it's subject to abuse, and more likely to be damaged the more our community has grown. We've been on the lookout for some way to add a layer of security that's still free on both ends. Now we have that!

Go here: http://www.tiqiq.com/sellerdirect and sign in with your Facebook account. Then list your tickets, put MGoBlog somewhere in your description if you like, then copy the link to your tickets and paste on the spreadsheet.

Nobody's forced to use that system. This is just a protection for sellers so their price can't be changed, and for buyers so they know they're dealing with a real human with a name and pictures of their cat.

/UPDATE]

To go along with the 'more informative headlines' theme, this thread will hopefully get set as a sticky. I have made a spreadsheet listing all people selling and looking for tickets.. http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0Avnckx2kNv9GdGVPQXBQMDZQdFJ4RTJ… Basketball season is here.. I've started up a new sheet in the document for basketball. Ive made the permissions open to anyone to edit, so we'll try the trust method for a while until someone abuses. Feel free to post what you are looking for or selling. If it gets abused, I'll go back to the method of requiring someone to email me and then posting.

Up for sale are two tickets to the regular season finale versus Indiana.  These tickets are priced to move at well below StubHub market prices.  In fact, these seats are better than almost all tickets available online for the game, and by far the most fair priced.  The price for the pair is $900; I welcome you to verify on stubhub, eBay, etc., this is the best value out there. These seats are midcourt, ten rows up, with a perfect view of the action.  Due to work I cannot attend, but let my loss be your gain.  You can contact me at [email protected] or call/text me at 734-620-5326.  Look forward to hearing from you, and forever GO BLUE.

Bought tickets this morning, then found out the my girlfriend's father, who's been battling cancer, is no longer going to be treated and is being admitted into hospice. Obviously, she's not going to leave his side, so I have two to sell for both sessions. I'm just looking to recoup what I paid for them.

Section 331 Row 17 - $350 each

Email me at [email protected] if interested. They're flash seats, so you'll get them instantly transferred once I receive payment.

Hey guys, Syracuse fan here.  Congrats on the win last night.  My friends and I are looking to unload our four tickets for tomorrow night's game, section 334 row 16.  I listed it on the spreadsheet, we're ideally looking for $200 each for the four.  My e-mail's [email protected].

Hey, I have a few questions about the Michigan/Notre Dame 'Under The Lights' game, does anyone remember how much tickets cost for the game in 2011 at Michigan Stadium? I'm not a student or alumni but I'm trying to see if tickets will be sold for this game to the general public. I see on the offical site that it says single game tickets don't go on sale until mid-July. I assume there might only be a limited amount of tickets available to the general public for this much anticipated game. This game might be impossible to get tickets to so I'm just trying to gather information now and possibly save up money. Thanks!

Is there a student out there that we could pair our student tickets for football? New grad student at UM and would love to pair FB season tickets so my spouse and I can sit together throughout the season?

Any suggestions on where to go?

Thanks!

If you are interested in tickets to the UConn game a possibility you could look into is season tickets. The place is not that big so pretty much every seat in the house it good. You can get far corner seats for $140 for the season, upper corner but further down for 175 (great view), lower section corner for $210, and seats on the 50 yard line in the chairback seats second deck (probably the best view in the stadium for $280. You're probably not interested, but the home schedule does include some pretty good games against new B1G teams Maryland and Rutgers. Louisville, South Florida, and Memphis. Theres also a game against Towson. You can always just sell your remaining tickets on stub hub or something. Just passing on some info.

I'm in the market for UCONN tickets. Are they hard to come by? I'd rather not mess with season tickets. Wasn't sure what the general situation was regarding getting tickets and pricing. I had looked a bit but didn't find much besides typical stubhub, etc.

Looking for a pair of tickets to the game @ Iowa in November.  DIEHARD fan living in Iowa, so hard to come by tickets that aren't in the Iowa Section.  Also will be looking for Basketball tickets @Iowa and @Iowa State.  Won't be able to make it up to Ann Arbor this year.  NOT HAPPY ABOUT IT.  If you have said tickets and are willing to part with them, hit me up at [email protected]. Thanks everyone, and GO BLUE.

I have posted my tickets for sale. I am selling 2 tix to ND AND 2 tix to Akron. I just want to get rid of all of them at once. They are row 8 for ND and row 9 for Akron, both in section 12. I am asking $600 for all for tickets, that is lower than what you would have paid going to through general sale and what you have to pay if you went to StubHub. I will also charge $10 for shipping as I am going to send it FedEx with tracking.

I am debating if i should try to get on the list for season tickets for next year?  Does anyone know how hard it is to get them?  If I pay the $500 "Donation"  would i be likely to be able to purchese them and do you have to pay $500 per seat that you want?

I am looking for 7 total for the IU game Oct. 19th 2013.

Ultimately I would like a 4 and a 3, but looking at all options at this point.

EDIT: I found 4. I still need 3. If anyone has 3 for IU please let me know.

Thanks,

But seeing that so many use the comments here to ask about tix, I will post here as well.  I am currently looking for 3 tix to the IU game, which puts me in the same boat as His Dudeness.  Since His Dudeness is a more senior member of the blog, I'll request that the second person with 3 available for IU reply to this post wth info.  Thanks!

Bringing my 13 year old son to his first UM games Nov 8,9.  Looking for two lower level tickets to the basketball game Nov 8 and 2 tickets for Neb game Nov 9 (row 45 or lower between the 30's).  Also any recommendations on a pre planned tailgate that I could purchase and participate in with him would be great.  Can contact me at [email protected]

General questions on lower tier non-conference basketball games. (Concordia through Holy Cross.)

Would it be easy to buy 6-8 tickets together on a walk up basis for these games?

Is there any reason to buy tickets in advance?

Thanks.
