Buying / Selling UM tickets thread with spreadsheet

Submitted by will on

[UPDATE 8/26/2014 from Seth:]

While the ticket spreadsheet was awesome for its time, we've known for some time that it's subject to abuse, and more likely to be damaged the more our community has grown. We've been on the lookout for some way to add a layer of security that's still free on both ends. Now we have that!

Go here: http://www.tiqiq.com/sellerdirect and sign in with your Facebook account. Then list your tickets, put MGoBlog somewhere in your description if you like, then copy the link to your tickets and paste on the spreadsheet.

Nobody's forced to use that system. This is just a protection for sellers so their price can't be changed, and for buyers so they know they're dealing with a real human with a name and pictures of their cat.

/UPDATE]

To go along with the 'more informative headlines' theme, this thread will hopefully get set as a sticky. I have made a spreadsheet listing all people selling and looking for tickets.. http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0Avnckx2kNv9GdGVPQXBQMDZQdFJ4RTJ… Basketball season is here.. I've started up a new sheet in the document for basketball. Ive made the permissions open to anyone to edit, so we'll try the trust method for a while until someone abuses. Feel free to post what you are looking for or selling. If it gets abused, I'll go back to the method of requiring someone to email me and then posting.

If any of you kind souls has access to a pair of Michigan @ Nebraska tickets, and you can't use them, and would like to be paid cash money for them, I am in need. The Nebraska ticket office said that they are sold out and the only way that any more will come available, is if Michigan has any that they don't sell from their allottment. I think that is wishful thinking, but who knows.

I live in Colorado, can't make it back to Michigan this year! Had a 4 pack last year and traveled back for every game! Baby #3 made a surprise appearance a year earlier than expected, and therefore could not purchase another 4 pack (or any tickets and airfare) this year. It is 'only' an 8 hour drive, and I would love to make that trek on October 27th!

Thanks in advance!

Will be making a trip from FL to Chicago the week of this game and have decided to drive over to Ann Arbor and catch my first live Michigan game. If anyone is selling (2) tickets somewhere between Sections 20 - 25 between rows 30 - 50 please let me know. Updated the spreadsheet as well. Thanks!

I will add to the spreadsheet but thought I would put a summary here.  I am a season ticket holder for M hockey - 4 tickets in row 14, section 28 (North End).  I moved farther away from Ann Arbor last month and just cant see making nearly as many games this year.  I almost got rid of my tickets but decided to keep them as the B1G starts next year.  I would like to sell 1/2 of the season at face value (it was $1,610 for all the tickets).  We would have a draft of sorts for who got which tickets (i.e. one person goes first, then other person gets second and third, then the original person gets fourth and fifth and so on).  Email me (Ken) at [email protected] if interested. Thanks and Go Blue!

Title says it all.  My 14-year-old son and I are making it down to Dallas.  We have our game tickets, but I would love to take him to the alumni tailgate beforehand. If anyone has two tickets that they don't need/can't use, I'd appreciate a chance to buy them from you.

Thanks and Go Blue!

Someone messed up the spreadsheat. Just a quick heads up for everyone. I'm not sure how to fix it, as I don't know what all was in what area.

I'm looking for a ticket stub from the UMass game, as it was my first game at the Big House. As I got my tickets from StubHub, they were delivered electronically, but I really would like an actual stub as a memorbila. Depending on the condition, I'd be willing to pay a few dollars for it.

If anyone has one that they would like to part with, please let me know.

As of yesterday I was not expecting the need to offload tickets for Sats game. However, I have had 3 people cancel, and might have a 4th. The 3 or 4 tickets are on the 50-yard line, 15th row, the 4 seats that are directly on top of the tunnel enterance. I hate to sell those ... and might find others to use, but if you want to send me a note with an offer, I can consider it. Would likely have to exchange the tickets pre-game in A2.

I was wondering if the rows in the upper sections start at Row 1 or if they just continue the count from the lower section?

If it is a continuation, what is the number of the first row in the upper section?

FWIW, I am looking for club seats for Iowa but they need to be 300 level. I already checked on the spreadsheet and the pair listed there are no longer available.  So if you know of anyone....

Unlike looking for my dress which I desired to final only 1 day?aI type of knew that looking for Bridesmaid Dresses would get considerably longer. I checked out lots of Wedding dresses online, but I was never ever tremendous excited about any of them. I started the bodily research at Van Cleve in Paoli. They've an excellent selection of popular designers, so I thought it could be a great place to begin looking. I found a few that I liked, but the issue continues to be the color/style mixture: I have located some Evening Dresses that I like, however they don't come in colors that I like. In certain rare situations, I've identified a colour that I like but, of program, then, I don't such as the designs.

I went to some far more large-selection stores. 1 was a warehouse-type setting exactly where we rummaged through loosely organized racks of Cocktail Dresses, elbowed our technique to a dressing space and fought for mirror space with people that could undoubtedly conquer us in a battle. It was fairly the experience, but hardly conducive to creating a acquire. I also produced a highly predicted excursion to the J.Crew Bridal Salon (I think that deserves its personal post), but still, have come up empty handed. I even started seeking at just typical Prom Dresses on the web, but just can't commit.

Right after all of these unsuccessful makes an attempt, I've made the decision that I'll put bridesmaid dress-shopping on hold for a while. This may be 1 of these choices that may benefit from a bit strain. In the really starting of November, we introduce a series of low-cost evening attire in distinct colors like blue, purple, black and brown.

MBB v. Nebraska? Even if you're not selling, can anyone familiar with basketball tickets so far this year help me out with an answer or two?

I just have a few questions about buying basketball tickets for tomorrow (Nebraska):

  1. What's a fair price for two lower bowl tickets?
  2. What's a fair price to get two people into Crisler?
  3. Will scalpers generally get desprate for this kind of game and unload cheap outside the gate?

I see getting in costs about $25 on Craigslist and StubHub, with the cheapest lower bowl tickets going in the $60 range. Will that hold up until tipoff, or am I better off waiting to pull the trigger? Also, any advice on a good location in the upper bowl would be helpful (if I can get lower, I'm buying regardless of location), even if you don't know about the ticket market.

Edit: Changed to needing four, so that should up the price.

I'm not sure if the ticket spreadsheet is still being used or if anyone ever looks at it, but I posted on there as well.

I am looking for 4 tickets (can be 2 sets of 2) for the Michigan-Illinois basketball game on February 24.  If anyone is selling tickets at a reasonable price, let me know.

A family member does not intend to renew four season tickets in Section 21 Row 20.  They can be transferred at no cost other than that required by UM.  There is a transfer fee per seat, the annual PSD of $350 per seat and then the cost per seat per game.

This is only the second time that UM has permitted the transfer of season ticket rights.

This is a way to avoid the waiting list.

Please advise of any interest.
