Not that we needed the positive reinforcement but it's always good to see the Univeristy get some love and recognition. It's also nice to see individual students recognized as opposed to just seeing where the University ranks.

100% agree. A co-author on an abstract is not someone who designed a study. An undergrad student did not develop technology that can detect cancer or cure sarcoidosis. Those cases were obvious exaggerations.

My great undergrad accomplishment was still having a functioning liver at the end of it.

I would consider that a roaring success. Mine's never been the same.
