Was a bit of advice from his father. "Trey, you’re the smallest guy on the court,” he’d tell him. “The only way you’re going to get the ball, is you’ve got to steal the ball.”

Gotta get your facts right though.  Can't be writing the Buckeyes knocked us out of the NCAAs in 2012.

Just think of how different things could be if Trey had gone to Penn St.  Does Penn St rise towards the top of the B1G?  How far do we get with Stu/Spike(?) running the offense.

That was a pretty cool read about what really has been a lifelong friendship for the Burke and Sullinger. I know there were stories and threads here that discussed how they grew up together, but nothing this in-depth, I think. I really did like how they ended the piece too, with the "We did it" quote - that friendship helped both of them be what they are now, it seems, and we are well-aware of what Trey Burke can be, of course.

Thanks for sharing that!

"A judge sentenced him to an education-based probation. Sullinger could avoid prison if he managed to turn his life around.

His brush with the law straightened Sullinger out. "

I wish we'd do this rather than simply lock offenders into over-crowded prisons and throw away the key.
