James K Polk, bitches.
I'VE HAD JUST ABOUT ENOUGH OF YOU SONNY
James K Polk, bitches.
This is a surprise. Said no one ever
if these kids could make their announcements on their own without someone leaking it first, but good luck Trey! You're leaving us with some of the best memories of the past quarter century of Michigan hoops! You've earned it!
Not sure it is even possible anymore, but I wish these things could remain private until the kid holds his press conference. Let him have his moment.
love the merging of repeating rumors and news.
i think burke has promised he will make an announcement.
It's been years, literally.
Thanks for the last two seasons, Trey.
Trey ranks right up there on my personal top UM hero list of Desmond Howard, Charles Woodson, Brendan Morrison, Marty Turco and Tom Brady. It was a true honor to have him represent my school and although I will miss watching him play for us, I wish him all the success and hope he has a great career in the NBA.
Thanks Trey! Go Blue!
And good luck. Not even sad about you leaving anymore. You did more in two years than most in four.
Visions of him lobbing the ball to Drummond for a flush. Good luck Trey!
...and you might actually have a playoff team.
Won't be any good and won't contend...but at least they'll be there.
Would be watchable. I just can't support a team where singler and jerebko play meaningful minutes. But a lineup of Burke, knight, iguadala, Monroe, and Drummond would be fun to watch!
Way to go out on a ledge there, Woj.
Woj is reporting that Taylor Lewan will enter 2014 NFL draft. Anonymous source with knowledge has confirmed.
He has done more for one program than I can think if in a long time. Thank you Trey.
Treys #3 should be hung in the rafters at the Crisler Center
that would be awesome, he deserves it after the season he had and what he has meant to the program
It has been quite the honor having Trey Burke in Ann Arbor these past two years, and he has been instrumental in taking this program achieve at a level that we have not seen it at in a long time. He truly is a special talent and he will be remembered here for a long time - as he should be. Good luck at the next level, Trey - whichever team chooses you will be getting a great playmaker.
While this will probably prove to be true, I think Trey should be allowed to break the news himself.
His stock will never be higher than what it is now. I would have been STUNNED if he actually came back for another year. Thank you for a wonderful two years Trey, and good luck in the NBA. Hopefully, my Pistons will be in poisiton to draft you.
Yeah too bad he can't make the announcement himself. It has to break a day early. Trey Burke has done everything right for his team and his school. I wish him the best with his pro career. He's the best I've seen in my lifetime playing Michigan basketball.
I cringe because we miss how good he might have become (e.g., Darius Morris). Not in this case.
We saw the highest level, and lo, it was mighty. Maybe there exists a higher level of college basketball, but not on this planet. Good luck, #3, you've flat run out of things to prove as an individual player.
No more Craft vs. Burke matchups; teardrop. Good luck to Burke in the Pros and hope he has a successful career.
...and Spike Albrecht will give Mr. Craft all he can grab, hold...I mean handle.
good decision. Make us all proud in the NBA young man
...is that they stole Trey's moment.
But it's still cool to see on ESPN.com. Michigan is relevant again.
Wish him the best. Makes total sense, and hopefully he'll start a new trend of top-flight NBA talent coming through Ann Arbor.
Is Tim Hardaway Jr. also making his decision? If not? Anyone know when he, McGary and Robinson III\ will announce?
This was Michigan chance to win the title and they blew it now Trey leaving back to being scrubs
Damnit! Who let Bill Simonson sign up for an mgoblog account!?
Hopes he dominates in the league! ROY, isn't a bad expectation with this draft class.
Finally a reason to watch the NBA. Our last Top 10 guy was Tractor Traylor - wow, it's been awhile
