Here's a Burke article from earlier today. Summary: Kid wanted to go to OSU, they didn't recruit him heavily. He's okay with that. His dad is very happy that he's in Ann Arbor and loves Stu and Zack. Satch Sullinger seems like a classy guy despite having two kids go to OSU and living in Columbus. Said he'll be a Michigan fan once Jared has graduated.

Great stuff. I'm always fascinated to hear perceptions of a recruiting process from several different angles.

Baumgardner is probably the best sportswriter AnnArbor has hired yet.

Agreed... Great article as I am sure Matta wishes he could turn back the hands of time and snatch up Burke. Burke is another testament to Beileins tremendous eye for talent and I am looking foreward to the future success of this team.Go Blue beat Ohio!

I hope he uses the stage to shine.  Honestly, if he can do what he's been doing (with the addition of hitting a few more shots) he will do fine Sunday.  However, he will have his hands full with Craft guarding him.  Somewhere it was written that getting into the half-court offense and being able to run a fluid offense will be critical for Michigan; Trey Burke will be in charge of that (obvi).  Craft has the ability to give opposing PG's nightmares.  Burke has shown the poise and maturity to handle the point comfortably already though and hopefully Craft won't be too big a surprise for him.  Trey does need to step his Defense up from Tuesday evening's performance (though I thought he did better, or not as bad, as others are claiming; the high ball screen was being run very well by Purdue and Trey struggled, but again, not terribly in my mind).  Love watching the kid play though.  His first OSU game may be the best one to come yet!

"Trey has made it OK to like Michigan in Columbus," says Benji, whose son will lead Michigan against Ohio State in Columbus on Sunday (1 p.m., CBS). "That's what we're seeing. “He’s made it OK to support Michigan, and it’s great.”

I think Burke has changed the tide on the rivalry. Hell people in Ohio are starting to believe him. Never in a million years I would have thought that. Selling Michigan jerseys is a good start.
