Yeah, "Auerbach:" why not just hammer a kid who has done nothing but represent the Universtity with class and do everything the coaching staff has asked him to do?

Because he's milking the University for a free ride when his scholarship should be going to an an actual Big Ten-caliber student athlete. Shane should be competing for the backup job at a MAC program somewhere, not pretending he's the starter for the University of Michigan. Harbaugh gets it (that's why he went out and got O'Korn and Rudock). Recruiting stars don't matter to Harbaugh. Actual results and ability is what matters at this level.

Well, good thing that it's not up to you and that when we offer a scholarship it's for better or worse. Im sure you know how hard he works in practice and in the classroom for that scholarship. Flat out saying he's milking the university for a scholarship is real prick move. About expected from you at this point, though.

The guy used the N-word toward a black HS player who is possibly commiting to Michigan (granted he was mocking Harrison but it was still inappropriate and to the poster's credit he agreed that it should be deleted). You're entitled to disagree with the deletion but that's a telling thing for you to take a stand on.
