This quote from Dymonte about how he was treated by ohio fans at his recent game:
In the recruiting game, It's Ohio State fans who didn't get the win in the Dymonte Thomas sweepstakes. Many didn't take the loss so well, especially since it came to their biggest rival. According to the player himself, some Buckeye fans are showing resentment.
"A lot of people here at the Louisville game were yelling 'O-H-I-O' and saying how bad Michigan sucks and everything, but I just let that go in one ear and out the other," he said. "I think a lot of people are just mad because they didn't get the chance to be in that predicament to choose between colleges. I went with my heart and I felt what was right."
Seems like this is a little less than the kind of stuff Kalis was hearing, but is this kind of stuff really necessary against a 16 year old kid? Just seems a little excessive to me, but maybe I am just being naive. Not to mention the fact that ohio was too dumb to still not have offered Thomas yet. Maybe they should be yelling at their coaching staff rather than a 16 year old kid. Then again, that would mean their fans would have to do some kind of research to realize that they still haven't offered one of the best players in the 2013 class in the state.
