BTT Thursday Open thread?
In case anyone wants to discuss the early games on the first day.
Right now Illinois is up on Iowa 14-13. Sloppy game.

Using BTN2GO for the first time. Beautiful picture quality. Glad I'm a grad student and can watch this at work. Sadly, it's not available in the android marketplace yet, only in the Apple App Store.
to watch on my ipad at work and i cant use it i guess. i have verizon on my ipad but cant seem to log in. kinda disappointed
Yeah, my iPad is not even 3g, but I was able to steal my friend's time warner password. Hoping to use this at Yost on Friday to watch the end of the Michigan game.
Sorry to burst your bubble like mine was last Thursday, but our game is on ESPN tomorrow night. Better get the WatchESPN app. and track down someone's password to make that one work for you.
It is ridiculous that they make you get a password. It doesn't stop anyone, just pisses them off to have another hoop to jump through before they can watch. I can't imagine someone switching cable providers b/c of this.

The two games in the evening session tomorrow are on BTN.
I don't know this for certain, but I think you need to be a Verizon cable subscriber. Maybe that's why it doesn't work.
You're right. Verizon FiOS cable, Time Warner, and some other one I haven't heard of.
I have android. I downloaded the "I heart radio" app. The game is on Davenport (Iowa) 1230.
Obviously, you won't be able to watch the game with this, but its not a bad substitute. Especially if (like me) you really should be working.

PS-Yes the game is a snoozer, but when you have the benefit of watching it on mute while on a call it's better than nothing.

Looks like Minnesota is gonna be shorthanded for the game. NW likely to move on. I think we're locked into a 3 seed unless we win the thing, so I wouldn't even mind all that much if NW got us and makes the tourney.
In NON-BTT news, Toledo has now advanced to the Quarters in the MAC Tourney. Takes on #3 Ohio tonight. Go Rockets!

I need to invest in an ipad for March Madness, ESPN gamecast just isn't the same. I tried talking my work into playing the games on the tv, but apparently displaying company announcements is more important.
Aren't all of the ESPN games on ESPN3 or is that limited to certain cable/internet subscribers?

Unless they do qualify for the NIT and go on some magical run, I don't see how they keep Weber. Its interesting that Illinois is not more of an athletic powerhouse, what with their access to Chicago and whatnot.
Just because they are in the same state does not mean they are close by. Plus Chicago is already overrun by ND and Michigan fans.

This is OT, but it isn't worth starting another thread for. Baylor's Uniforms are awful. Brian complaining about UM's trend toward highlighter yellow has nothing on these bright neon yellow green uniforms. Check it out on ESPN2 right now.

This first game, and Gus has let us know how good he thinks it's been, has been an entertaining one.
I agree with the sentiment that if Northwestern were to beat us in the BTT I probably won't be that upset as NW would reach the 20 win plateau because of it and likely get their first NCAA bid; not something to hope for (a loss) but would be somewhat of a silver lining.
Yea, Baylor I think has road construction duty after their game with K-State.
