BTN will NOT stream the spring game

Submitted by GoBlueInNYC on

As promised yesterday, I emailed BTN to see if they would be streaming the Michigan Spring Game on their website like last year. I just heard back, and no dice:

Thanks for the email.  The Big Ten Network will broadcast the Michigan Spring Football Game live at noon ET on Saturday. We are unable to domestically stream games that we broadcast due to contractual obligations with our cable and satellite affiliates.  You might check our Game Finder tool and enter your zip code to find out which providers in your area carry the Big Ten Network.

Sorry everybody, it looks like we're off to the nearest bar bright and early Saturday morning.

With crummy weather projected, I believe I'll be plopping infront of the TV w/ an Oberon to watch the team workout.  Glad to know I'll be able to find it on BTN, but bummer that it is not being streamed.

21 MPH Winds, Rain, about 50 degrees. Fun fun. If I were a camera man, I'd call in sick.

That said, there was a 100% chance of rain earlier, and now they've lowered it to 80%. Maybe it'll hold off till late?

No Nebraska coverage at all on the BTN. I kind of expected them to include the newest member in this year, but no dice.

Btw, the first "Spring Football Report" show will be broadcast on the BTN tonight at 10 PM EST.
