BTN: UM-Miss St Bowl Preview
If not too much trouble, could you re embed to work on mobile? I'm on the mgoblog iPhone app and the video isn't showing up. MGoGracias!
There's only one embed code. I'm not quite sure why it isn't working.
YouTube should work.
But I could have done without the douchebag commentary from that guy in the beginning.
that DB has the most revolting, yet can't look away from the horror, avatar I have ever seen....can you imagine waking up next to that in the mornig?
lol, interesting commentary from Dinardo on another video about Lloyd Carr's retirement which you can click on after you watch the bowl preview video.
It was Nov 18, and they were talking about how they need to hire someone asap to save the recruiting class.. Also mentioned how hiring a coach like Les miles after a jan. bowl game would totally destroy the class because they waited too long
And now here we sit today talking about the same thing.. ironic
Well Lord knows if Dinardo says it then it must be true. He has such a long and distinguished track record of success in his coaching career.
"I say this all the time. Howdy Doody could be the head coach of LSU."
--Gerry DiNardo, LSU head coach 1995-1999
He was fired with one game left in 1999 after going 2-8 and 0-7 in SEC play. Many of his recruits went on to help the Tigers win the 2001 SEC title under Saban. Oops.
Ya i usually ignore him, but it is funny i remember back then everyone talking about the same thing.
Now brandon sits here and says how it doesn't affect the recruiting etc..
But i guess we will find out when he goes public with his decision
where you are going with this, and I think I like it. Is that bad?
To be fair, lets not forget about Dinardo's (10-35) record after LSU...
2- 8 in 2001 with The Birmingham Thunderbolts of the XFL before the league folded
8 -27 from 2002 thru 2004 with Indiana University before he was pink slipped:
i know he sucked as a head coach.. That is why he is a commentator now, but he still knows more than any of us what it is like to go out there and recruit when his job could be on the line..
