1) I hate the statement "on the road." Analysts going crazy about stopping the run and scoring points "on the road." Pretty sure that's the goal home, road, or neutral.

DiNardo's remarks on the difference between the spread run and the downhill run--is there that much difference from the defense's standpoint? The run is something we've been able to stop recently.

Let's just throw in the towel now, guys. Our defense is not built to stop teams with "downhill" style running attacks. Unfortunately the laws of college football are incredibly rigid: if you feature a spread attack, your defense can only play well against offenses that feature a spread attack. Damn it! I forgot all about that old law.
