BTN Michigan Preview Open Thread
Tate has no wings?!?!?! Oh wait....
it really did look strange. stuck out like a sore thumb.
"The key for Michigan is on defense." Don't remind us...
some auto's owners insurance and queso+rotel!
1) I hate the statement "on the road." Analysts going crazy about stopping the run and scoring points "on the road." Pretty sure that's the goal home, road, or neutral.
2) Jibreel Black looks like BG.
Our QBs can THROW! That makes me happy.
DG has a nice tight spiral and some serious zip.
TF also most the most accurate on the out route (high and to the sideline in front of the WR)
DR spiral on the first couple throws was a little sloppy, and a little behind the reciever.
Even in the preview shows the BTN has horrible/awkward camera angles.
DG displaying some serious talent throwing the ball.
Stonum running well.
GOD september 4th needs to get here.
keep RR around and DG will get us a title.
Well...that Woolfolk reference hurt
I'm quite a fan of that Vincent Smith throwdown.
So you also saw Vincent Smith bitchtoss Death Roh? I thought I saw that.
I think that was actually Mike Martin getting bitchtossed. This is a great sign, since to bitchtoss Mike Martin both your knees must be 100%.
roundtree was the right guy to let the BTN guys interview, he had the exact canned answers that RR would have had. love it.
But I love how he sincere he sounded when he said what would make a successful season, "Everybody playing for somebody."
offense will be sick as expected. Now the D needs to do SOMETHING!
Thanks I enjoyed that
Austin White, no wings.
vlad impaling as we'd all love to see
Cox gives you the best option.
Did Vincent Smith just throw down Mike Martin!!?? HOLY
This team is playing angry, and I love it.
nice coach speak, schilling
watching TWolf out there.
On a different note, I really like that highlight of JT Floyd stayin right in Tree's pocket.
The more I watch the less I can decide what QB I want to win this battle..ahhh
Can we play all three to screw with the opposing defenses?
Good open field smash.
The O-line looks fantastic.
The "analysis" leaves much to be desired, but it's nice to get to see the team practice.
Michigan BONER right meow.
I always knew you get a little crazy when you get that syrup in you...
does dave know how silly he sounds in the beginning part when he says no in that growly voice?
HARD EDGE!.... drink
I feel like there should be a Domino's offer of a free 2 liter of Coke with any Lg. Pizza purchase at the end of anything that starts with "Hard Edge" now.
mike martin's legs scare me.
Those calves are HUGE!
get in the car!
Even a few weeks ago it looked to be Mundrous over Ezeh
DiNardo's remarks on the difference between the spread run and the downhill run--is there that much difference from the defense's standpoint? The run is something we've been able to stop recently.
Well except against OSU...and WIsconsin...and pretty much everyone else last year. Our run defense was putrid last year.
IF 2006 is recently, then I agree with you. Otherwise I have no idea what you are smoking.
Any idea who number 34 is on D? I only see Gibbons on the roster on mgoblue.com
Let's just throw in the towel now, guys. Our defense is not built to stop teams with "downhill" style running attacks. Unfortunately the laws of college football are incredibly rigid: if you feature a spread attack, your defense can only play well against offenses that feature a spread attack. Damn it! I forgot all about that old law.
Omameh did a nice job"trimming up" this off-season huh? Jeebuz. Dude has put on 50 pounds. Go BTN!
Dinardo is a jackass.
But that wasn't Dinardo, it was the black guy, don't know his name.
Thought they said Big will has done a nice job trimming some lbs
It's been very encouraging watching the guys practice. Our OL and DL should be sick. And our safeties can lay the wood.
I would of liked to see some Marvin Robinson footage. Didn't take notice to see what his number was.
Grady at RB deeeep
Does Ginardo even see the RB's running outside the cones half the time?? I know you should finish the tackle, but that guy is really bothering me already.
I don't know what the guy's name is, but he's all the way on the left of the three announcers; is anyone else really annoyed by his stupid loafers?
It's bad because he's wearing white socks with them.
anyone notice Fitz was absent in the M drill? Did I miss something?
So was Smith, maybe class or something.
Yes, they were both standing at the bottom of the screen behind all the other running backs.. They were probably just letting some other guys get some rep's. They did say V. Smith and Toussaint had been with the 1's and 2's most the day.
I have been feeling slightly sick watching this show. On Rich Rod now and I have started drinking. He is talking around the issues, we are screwed.
Phil Monolo, never heard of him but he didn't look too bad in the M drill.
Haha. Did anybody else see that T Rob show boating when he broke that tackle coming out of the commercial break? That was funny.
He broke Cam Gordon's tackle -sighs-
does not look overweight. He moved well in drills and is carrying all of his 325+ lbs like a dominate D-lineman.
I thought so too, he looks as slim as I've ever seen a 325 lber look.
It looks like conditioning motivation isn't his problem. I think it's all about football technique with him. He's gonna be a good one. He made Schilling look like a chump in the M Drill.
Will upload the whole show eventually.
Quick, strong; he reminds me of a young Brandon Graham. Wear that number proudly, young man...
but if you could succeed him, that'd be lovely.
In the beginning when they're "analyzing" the 3 yard out passing drill and both are loving them some denard, they talk about how he's matured....as he's playfully giving Coach McGee the finger for something he said...+1 to you, BTN
Nice, physical play by Avery to jam Williamson and make a nice pass break up. Looked good. Cullen had handfuls of Jackson's jersey on the clip and would have easily been called for defensive holding there. Get 'em all out of your system before the games!
