He's coming with Dymonte Thomas
This...could be big.
well done, sir.
This B1G recruiting announcement brought to you by.. Dr Pepper, let's have a real good time!
This was on my playlist for my halloween party, almost brought the house down.
If Dunn commits to us, this song will now forever be his theme music playing in my head when he scores a touch.
WOO! Let's hope the visit goes well. We're running out of space in the class, let the blue chips decide quickly!
He's going to have Thomas in his ear all game, and probably will have a good talk with Hoke and Borges and then have (as everyone does) a great game experience in the Big House.
With Fickell seemingly on the way out and OSU going on the coaching search after the season, I can easily see Dunn going Blue after his visit.
Not if we we lost to OSU this year!
I meant Coach Fickl won't be fired if he beats Michigan.
Thomas can talk to him every day. Let the fans and the Michigan experience do the talking on Saturday.
I'm sure Swazi will make certain this happens. He has a lot of pull.
I think he's waiting on what happens to OSU to make a choice. Even if he's blown away this weekend, he makes it sound like his decision is based entirely on whether or not OSU gets a bowl ban.
This can only help Michigan's case and standing in his eyes, but I think he's still very invested in osu and wants to see how things shake out there before switching his commitment. What if osu escapes a bowl probation and hires a real top flight coach? They could be good again in a REAL hurry. Any talk of buckling up is way premature, imo.
A lot of Ohio people think that hiring of Urban Meyer would be just as bad as any severe penalties may get from the NCAA in regards to Dunn. He doesn not want to play in a spread. I never completely understood it since Ohio has more than a few spread principles with Miller, but a lot of them sure do think he is gone for sure if they hire Urban.
Actually, I think our next commit will be a switch by Armani Reeves.
How is that off topic? We are talking about a possible recruit?!?!?!
But a dancin' crowd is ON TOPIC?!?!?!/
An interview last week said that Armani wasn't thinking about decommitting Penn State (his teammate at CM, Camren Williams was also a solid verbal). However, considering that it's looking like Penn State's entire coaching staff will be gone after this season, I could see him decommitting. I don't know if Armani will be a target though. I'm not sure where he'll end up. We are high on Yuri Wright's list....
I mentioned this in another thread, but the PSU commits are going to have a while to think about the situation before it gets cleared up, and spots are filling up at the other good options. This is not a typical coaching change where a coach gets fired or retires at the end of the season and a new guy in hired a week or two later.
I'm not saying every PSU commit bails, but I bet more do than normally would.
Going by what I've seen thus far and not what I think will happen. I think there are some players who want to go to Penn State for Penn State, but I think there are several others who will decommit and look elsewhere. From those interviews, it sounded like Schutt, Williams, and Reeves were solid at the time, but a lot has changed since then. A lot more stuff has come out and change is inevitable. I don't know if Michigan is in the position to pick those guys up given the guys we already have committed and the limited spots we have. It's a wait and see deal.
I think we're on the same page on this.
He's wearing a Michigan hoodie.
I thought Eric gave you the creeps?
His cousin said that if OSU suffered a bowl ban, Brionte would probably switch, but he was sworn to secrecy about the school. Dunn said that if he decommitted, his three possible schools were Michigan, Miami (YTM) and Penn State.
Let's see. One of those has made a huge turnaround and is an up-and-coming program, one of them faces sanctions because of a booster gone wild, and the third one is imploding so badly that the east suburbs of Pittsburgh are now the west suburbs of Philly.
The sasquatch on the right dances like Mark Madsen.
Portland menage a trois
me spit up my drink all over my keyboard at work in laughter. Nicely done!
Is that dudes shirt off...that is offensive.
three inches off center.
Announcement to go blue the week before the Ohio State Game....yes, please!
That would be the perfect timing to announce a switch in commitment.
It would be even crazier than the Kalis pickup and would really get the buckeyes going.
I have a feeling the mgoUsers are going to enjoy this. :)
So I won't quite buckle up... but can I at least get in the car?
Is it just a feeling, or a gut feeling?
EDIT: MGoglitch? I clicked on reply to the comment above....
I say he should just gamble and come to UM/OSU, and pick whoever wins.
we can exploit their banged up Dline. We gashed a good Illinois front 7 for close to 150 yds rushing in the first quarter last week, hopefully we can do more of the same. Also a good time for Dymonte to visit when our secondary goes up against a QB with an arm like a broke T-shirt cannon.
I had to stop and imagine what a broken t-shirt cannon would be like then imagine T-Magic throwing and then I laughed out loud. Very fitting description.
Can't forget about Hayes and Rawls!
Does he play football? /s
My Point as well
Hoke's points are all that I care about.
Obviously great news, but I have really gotten to like the idea of Wes Brown and Diggs coming together. I guess this is a good problem to have, which has become the reoccurring theme of this years recruiting class...
I also am on the Wes Brown and Stefon Diggs train. Wes Brown shows he can be a big bruiser back with speed. Also shows moves which Bri'onte lacks.
Either one would be a great pick up imo.
I think I recall I heard brown was offered to play in the secondary for Ohio! As Hoke said in his press conference he'll take multiple running backs from high school because they tend to be the best athlete in their team! Just some food for thought!
+1 for Cesc. I miss that guy.

Ok, I am strapped in and ready to BUCKLE UP!
In or On? Very different connotations...
nicely done right there
visiting for Nebraska is a big get.
I'm buckling up and putting on my safety helmet. Also I'm adding a support harness and duck styled arm floaties.
wait to announce due to what Kyle Kalis went through. I can't blame him for that.
Not to be a downer...we have had these false reports before. I REALLY, REALLY hope it happens, but not going to get excited yet.
why so down debbie? you think Dunn will cancel last second?
This is certainly great news.
Also, Shane Morris will be in attendence, per twitter.
Is there a limit to how many unofficials guys can take? So if guys like Shane and especially Drake who live really close want, can they just head up every saturday and essentially have free season tickets?
You don't get an unlimited number of official visits. Schools have a certain number of official visits they can hand out each year. Thus, they will not give them out like candy because they need to save them for other recruits. Morris will be there on an unofficial, meaning he'll have to pay his way, and since the recruits pay their own way on unofficials, they can have as many as they want.
Aaah yeah I got a little mixed up in terminology there. I for some reason was thinking they still got some perks on an unofficial. Didn't really think it through. Thanks for enlightening me.
let us run the ball with authority on Saturday.
in this class. Having a good, big, physical back is a big missing piece of the puzzle for Michigan still. The other major recruit on our radar is Diggs. We also badly need a bonafide long threat at WR. I hope Dunn will commit after this weekend, but I kind of doubt he will. He's still kind of waiting out the OSU uncertainty.
Would love to have him annoucne right before we crush OSU!
Should point at RVB, Mike Martin, Fitz and Denard and the rest off the current team...If we win now, all the dunns and others will "get it" and come. If we (or our coaches) build it...they will come. Just. Win. now
This class would really look nice with Dunn and Reeves decommitting from their two schools in turmoil. I don't see OSU getting out of this without some postseason ban in the next year or two. Likewise, Penn State won't likely be sanctioned by the NCAA but will slide for the next few years as recruits are already starting to look other ways. It's a good time for us to be on the rise and get some of the players that we might not get in other years. That only puts is closer to the mountain we used to be on in terms of recruiting.
The tough part for the PSU recruits is the uncertainty. Not from the NCAA, but what the program will look like when they're there. The coach they committed to is gone, as will most (if not all) of his staff. So at the very least, these kids will be playing for coaches they don't yet have any kind of a relationship with. The bad part about that for PSU is that it will be a little while before they get all of that cleared up, giving these kids way too much time to question their decision, get recruited by other coaches/players, and watch spots fill up at other teams.
When we went through our coaching change, there were only a few days from when RR was fired and when we had a new coach to start re-recruiting our guys. These PSU commits are in a tough spot, and a lot of them will head to a team that they might like just a little less than PSU just to get stability.
after OSU's season this year, I think he sees the difference between the program on the rise in Michigan and the program in decline in Ohio State.
While I like Wes Brown, the chance to deal TSIO another blow by stealing a commit from them is just too much to pass up.
Great to have him coming up, especially with Dymonte. I think best case scenario would be a big Michigan victory coupled with a total jizz bag of a game out in Columbus between the Buckeyes and the Nittany Lions. Not only would that be somewhat discouraging for Ohio State, but he'll also see how great Michigan is. Wasn't Dunn looking at PSU too as a potential destination if/when shit goes down at OSU?
A jizz bag? Odd description for a game...
You truly are the gift that keeps on giving.
I have had the gut feeling that he was a silent commit in some sense of the word, but after seeing everything that Kalis went through, chose to wait for the right time.
